Terminal 1

An amazingly unorganised airport and terminal. Like in many places around here, they try to cover for the lack of processes by trowing truckloads of insufficently trained staff in your direction.

The free shower is located near the Gate 15. You must pass security check to get there. It's a little bit confusing.

Abu Dhabi Tourism Department has amazing postcards of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque - English too. Ask them for it.

On.this termial there is only one shop called relay where u can take 1 packet of ciggartte. All other places are served wid 1 cartoon i.e 200 ciggarettes

I love this airport . It's well thought out.

If u check in frm T3, and ur boarding gate is @ T1, u don't hv 2 run, jz hv 2 walk fast... It's quite a distant, abt 15-20mins

This terminal is totally congested and it has gone beyond the capacity it was designed for. You can see people sitting in the floor because of lack of chairs. Too congested and over crowded .

Etihad Gold members are supposed to be able to check in at Terminal 1, even if flight is at Terminal 3, for access to Al Reem lounge but security never let me in.

So simple and easy to reach the gates

Sky Bar is a cool place to hv cpl of Beers

Boarding of Etihad is mostly exact on time.

Take warm clothes with you, It's very cold here in a summer dress .

Very crowded place

A lot of walk between Terminal 1 and 3 so plan atleast 15 mins in advance

Go to terimanl 3. Duty free has more selections than T1.

Best avoid this airport altogether. DXB is close and infinitely more pleasant

Don't come for check-in hours in advance. Terminal 1 is very small inconvenient, nothing to do while waiting for a flight

it is not really 15mins walk. u can take it in 5mins. unless you really really walk very slow.

Rude ground staff . Crowded . Free wifi is the only good thing about this airport .

order a red wine !

Klein und übersichtlich hier. Es gibt ein paar Shops. Die Boarding Zonen sind nicht sehr groß.
