Place where people gather in the city center. Some entertainments (mostly free) are often held here.

Dave Milne

The only major public square in Leeds. Hosts events throughout the year, from the German Christmas market to large summer gigs. Quite a nice place for events , but rather soulless at other times.

Jo Poskitt

I love it. If you look towards the town hall on a clear summers evening you could almost feel like your in Rome

Harry Roberts

It’s always great to see what’s happening here. Quite a nice place for a quick lunch in the sun, too.

Millenium Square is gorgeous but the Mandella Garden and fountains just opposite Casa Mia is more my kind of chill out spot - a bit more secluded and a lot prettier.

By standing in Millennium Square, you're joining the likes of Nelson Mandela, the Kaiser Chiefs and er, Meat Loaf in visiting Leeds' flagship Millennium project.http://www.yorkshire.com
