Haven Gastropub

They've upped their game big time from the last time.. Well-made cocktails and excellent food were the order of the day. We had the pretzel , margherita flat bread , and gnocchi...all home runs!

Best snack at this place is the hand-twisted pretzel . It's soooo gooood! The cheese fontina dipping sauce is awesome because it's got bacon bits in it, lol.

Not a huge selection of draft beer but each tap is amazing. Really work hard to keep one of the best beers in each major style in. Food is amazing too. Gotta try the fries

We started with a wonderful charcuterie plate and I had the seasonal butter bass for me meal and it was delicious!

Amazing food. Main course came out before we were done with appetizers . But that is the only fault I can find. Great flavors and great beer selection .

Fine gastropub . Expect a wait on the weekends. No reservations for small groups. The lamb belly was good, especially liked the deviled eggs . Excellent beet salad .

Good craft beer on draft and tasty cocktails . Food is tasty but a little heavy on the bread and chips .

if you don't like blue cheese , be advised that the St. Agur cheese on the burger is indeed of that stinky variety. and it's delicious!

Any IPA they have on the list is excellent. Also, their salads here are really good. Try the truffle fries !

Duck Poutine was best drunk food I've ever had and I wasn't even drunk. They have 2 great Pinot noir options from Russian River valley.

Burger with pommes frites is awesome! However, ask for a side of aioli for the fries . The organic ketchup was a wee too organic !

always a gear place to get some great beers and some intriguing foods. Try the pigs ears ... and if available, the deviled eggs .

The bacon wrapped prawns and spicy cheesy grits were superb. Great beers on tap as well

The short rib sliders are good. Definite improvement over the pulled pork . Ask for extra apple chutney . Also, lemon basil gimlet ! My favorite.

Great menu that changes every season. One of the best burgers in all of Orange County .

Great drinks and dinner , don't get their brownie dessert . I've made a better brownie at home. It was overdone, dry and crunchy. When I asked, I was told that is how the chef wanted it presented!

A bit over priced for food but the mac and cheese is bomb. Go for bar food and good craft beer .

haven bruger is my fav (love st. agur blue). fries not so much, get the beer soaked chips instead! can't go wrong with the hemp brown ale .

Try the following: Mac N Cheese , Burger combo (pickled onions , need I say more?), Chicken and Waffles (no kidding) and the Candied Bacon Ice Cream . A-MAZING!

Absolutely LOVE the mac and cheese . They also make killer drinks that are always worth the money. ;)

Fries are excellent. Wagyu is good. Bacon ice cream is worth a try---it's like cold, creamy bacon but the beer brownie is delish.

Veggies : several good options here. I really liked the spaghetti squash . Portion is large enough to bring some home. Reheats in oven really nicely.

Food is amazing. Had the gazpacho , French union soup , shepherds pie , and the best pork sandwich .

The Fried Pig Ears are amazing!

Sat at the bar and had GREAT service, they didn't charge for water , and the Brussel sprouts are to die for. Not sure where some of these other people ate where they got bad service and a h20 charge...

Mac and Cheese was pretty good. What would be better is if they added bacon to it. The Bacon Ice Cream was pretty good too. Get the potato chips . They put crack in them or something.

if you ever smoke a "Jeffrey" sit at the bar and feel underneath the bar counter. trust me.

Yes, that little puddle of ice cream is the serving size. I wouldn't come here if I was hungry, but the drinks are okay. It's not terrible, but definitely not the best.
