Taiping Matang Seafood Porridge Restaurant

Tried fish congee for 2 pax at $36. Fish is fresh and good. Personally think it's worth trying the four treasure aka mixed seafood congee (squid , prawn , crab and fish ) about $30 per pax.

No doubt it's one of the very best seafood porridge I have ever eaten. It tastes superb and most importantly the seafood is amazingly fresh. Will definitely come back again!

Order 1.5 portions and you probably can feed 3 pax. Seafood is fresh. Not exactly teochew porridge , more like rice in broth. Like at Go Rice Shop.

The porridge is ok but quite EXPENSIVE . The side dishes are not so nice . Doesn't really worth a try if you dont't like porridge

Food tastes: no big deal. Price: big deal, expensive . Freshness: GD

Always order half size smaller for the portion of the porridge is alot to handle xD

Crabs are nice and fresh

Bad ventilation even though having high ceiling and air-conded
