If you are vegetarian the roti is fantastic. Great blend of spices with the sweetness if the yams and starch of the chick pea . A delicate roti casing in top of it.
Friendly tip for vegetarians who love the QM burger , it is 100% served at dinner time but only with salad , it's just not listed on the dinner menu . Just ask your server:)
Red curry seafood hot pot had the consistency of Thai panang curry , but a lighter flavour (it still had a coconut milk flavour). It was served with Western vegetables . It was decent.
A comfortable classic. For over 30 years, this favourite Queen West Thai locale has been the perfect après shopping destination. Many patrons order the same dishes, year after year. [Eater 38 Member]
Good for getting many options and sharing!! All amazing!! Every time we go we try smth new and we love it. Our to go place while in dwntwn and we have visits from abroad.
Lots of choices on Queen St., but she wanted Pad Thai and I love Boddingtons in the tall can! Delicious Thai!
Many of the dishes here are Thai or normal cafe food, but all the noodles , the red curry seafood hot pot , the ping gai & the first 3 starters are Laotian.
Beautifully done sticky rice ! Loved all we had - veg burger , poached eggs and English muffins , and the tofu spring rolls are to die for !
Ping gai was good. It had a nice grilled flavour. The sauce was mild. The salad was an interesting & good side.
The spring roll was decent. Inside there was a lot of jicama. It was slightly different from a normal spring roll . The sauce was a sour peanut sauce which was nice.
It is very cosy and beautiful place. Foods are so tasty and interesting. I had a new and good experience here at Queens Ave Toronto
Absolutely fantastic food and the atmosphere is off the charts. Not what you'd expect; great Thai food in an English pub atmosphere.
Try the Ping Gai: tender inside, crispy outside, tasty dipping sauce .
Cannelloni with 3 types of cheese is amazing feels like a homemade pasta ! ????
This thai food place is amazing, I loved their padthai ! They claim that their menu has been the same since 1970s.
The QM Burger is a delicious veggie burger in a pita with their own special sauce . Only served at lunch .
Try the Khao Soy Gai - Chicken and noodles in a mild coconut curry sauce . I added chilies for more zing. (via @Foodspotting)
There's a nice patio out back. Turn right when you enter and follow the stairs. And try the Ping Guy.
Anything you order will be delicious; personal faves are the Ping Gai and the noodle dishes .
Wild Mushroom Ravioli is good...the Pad Thai is no better than any other Thai place in the city .
The ping gai is phenomenal. Perfectly crispy and tender on the inside. The coriander lime sauce is perfect!
