Lives up to hype. Upstairs deck is quite glorious. They make salsa in molcajete (mortar and pestle) table side and abuse amuse Boucher is already worth quite a bit. With the conversion rate, homerun.

Fantastic traditional Oaxacan gourmet restaurant . Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants that I've tried. Try the tacos de oja Santa with grasshoppers , a mole almendrado and a worm :)

An incredible evening. Service is excellent and the food is top notch. I recommend the Oaxaca platter to start (for three people easy) and then having the octopus . Hot sauce is made fresh on the spot.

The Mezcal Sour is pretty great (although make sure you get some neat too). The suckling pig with mole is exceptional. Also the complimentary salsa made at the table is a special touch

They save spots for folks without reservations on the ground floor - you can sit in the outer area with the musicians or the lovely inner plaza .

Eating here is not only about the food but about the experience! The mezcal cocktails are awesome, don't be afraid to try them! Wonderful restaurant , make sure to make a reservation .

Must visit while in Oaxaca: reserve a table for dinner on the roof. Enjoy the mezcal cocktails , excellent service, table side salsa with grasshoppers (optional).

el caldo de piedra es delicioso. This place is a must but you need to reserve in advance if you want to have a table upstairs

The food was excellent but the view at sunset was even better. Get a table on the rooftop terrace and sip on a Tamarindo margarita .

Recommend the salsa made at the table and the lava rock cooked seafood soup . All the food is outstanding and beautifully presented.

Best location/view but the service is hit or miss...the servers are too stressed out to really attend to you..no personal connection, just really bringing your food to you asap.
