Unpretentious experience with good, almost organic wines . Loved learning about the sustainable growing practices. Worth a stop in your vineyard tour .
The B&B is clean quiet with updates amenities . The breakfast is also very good. The wine tasting area is quite nice as well with indoor and outdoor seating . The staff are very nice and accommodating.
One of the most beautiful vineyards I have ever been to. Super dog friendly , lovely rosé , and delicious donuts !
Shinn's wines are leaps and bounds beyond the rest of the north fork . Their focus on sustainability makes the wine an honest reflection of their land. It truly represents a time and place.
1 of my fave vineyards on the N Fork. Unpretentious, chill ambiance w/ friendly staff & a dog named Panda . Love the Wild Boar Doe , Rosé , Coalescence , Chardonnay , & Pinot Blanc.
Staff was super-accommodating when we arrived near closing. Great views and a cute little gift shop (with, of course, plenty of wine to choose from).
The queso fundito is a delicious addition to the wine and apple brandy
Solid winery that makes their own moonshine as well . Try the Haven, Cab Franc, or Wild Boar Doe .
Love the wines here. Coalesence is one of my favorite reasonably priced whites. Plus the tasting here is $10.
The wild boar doe was my pick. The rosé and some of the whites were just too sweet.
Beautiful setting and really good wines . Harvest dinner was amazing.
The Coalescence is delicious year after year, but the vibe alone is worth a visit.
Lovely vineyard featuring great wines and a wonderful B&B
Best wine in long island ! Off the grid and away from the party buses too.
We featured Shinn Estate Vineyard in our guide for "10 Best Wineries " on Long Island ! Read more
Best wine on LI. Beautiful ambiance!
A wonderful B&B. The Wild Boar Doe is delicious.
Go for one of the dinners - either the monthly wine maker's dinner , or the futures dinner in February
Wine good, atmosphere nice but was ruined when the owner was rude to a customer for playing with the owners dog who was wandering the premises. Dog also was afraid of owner which isn't a good sign.
Awesome dog! (Panda ). Great wine !
There is a hidden library stash that is $25 for the tasting, slightly intriguing and feels secretly scandalous. The over tasting wines are average
Delicious, chill . Not for picnic .
They also have a still. Try the brandy or grappa .
Quaint tasting room and good Merlots . Overpriced on some wines .
Good wine good atmosphere ...but apparently don't touch the roaming dog the owner rips you a new one ...will never come back
Jasper Hill cheddar to accompany the wine
Nine Barrels - I give it an 85. Great finish with a bit of tanginess .
First Fruit is Awesome
Extremely rude staff . Server made us wait forever to pay our bill and then tried to charge us double. Stingy tastings. Much better wine can be found elsewhere on the North Fork .
White: First Fruit . Red: Wild Boar Doe .
The best thing was the gorgeous redhead who served us, I gave it a 98...
Wine isn't that good, but the people are nice.
Take the winery tour , and also stay here!
Too rude to customers. Sold us a bottle saying it was fine to stay after hours. But after 30 minutes started to kick our party out.
The 2007 Malbec is not to be missed!
The Wild Boar Doe is the standout here.
Try the pear cider !
Not friendly to groups. God help you if you pet the dog.
Best merlots on the North Fork .
Wine is nothing special
Get the pear cider .
Panda is adorable!
Play with Panda !
Custom flights!
Their Wild Boar Doe is good, but overpriced for what it is.
All of the wines were delicious. Service was ok. The women in main tasting room was great and very knowledgeable. I think it's great you can move your tasting from indoor to outdoor. - Kelly A
They have the best sparkling wines I’ve ever had! You can pair your wine with one of their gourmet cheeses, which are amazing. - Leslie Martin
The best and most consistent winery on North Fork right now. Great, old-world wines. The Estate Merlot and White Label Chardonnays are great values... but often cheaper from local wine stores. - Tim Marman
Loved the '05 Merlot Reserve! Strong currant flavor, smooth and velvety. Low tannins for a merlot. Would be great to sip in the fall. - ann-tuh-neen
The food was delicious!! Often a long wait. They have a cool reservation app...use it. Great place to eat lunch/brunch during vineyard tour. - Kelly A
