This is and incredible 2 thousand year old arena in the heart of Verona , a true gem of Italy. Make sure you get the seat cushions before the show starts. Trust me, that you will not regret it.
Opera festival is so good, quality and exiting!! Professional orchestra and other musicians and so kind, cool atmosphere. Everyone should visit this kind of performance , you'll be full of emotions.
Beautiful arena and indeed a gem of Verona. The opera is top quality although the seats are hard not only in the more expensive seats but especially in the unreserved area. Oh and an umbrella!!
Yes YesIt is an excellent idea, which pipes a deeply when it is first time you see an opera. The Lady and the undersigned can only recommend this place and this spectacle.
Opera here is pure magic. Good tickets must be bought months in advance.
Saw Aïda here at an Opera festival . Impressive experience. Tickets easily available on site. Go either for the expensive or the cheapest tickets. Outdoors. They need to paus if it starts to rain.
Don't pay 10 EUR to visit it during the day, but spend 30 EUR to see an opera at night! More value for money
If you're here for the festival lirico and you bought your ticket online, print the ticket before (even if ticketless). Or just go to the main ticket shop before the show
Just be aware that it's used contemporarily as a concert venue , so there's not much ancient feel to it. But it was impressive from outside, and traveling the inner tunnels was fun.
It‘s older than the colosseum in Rome but not as impressive. It’s still a must see when you are in Verona.
Most of it is under construction . The entrance was 10 euros for single entry so I just stayed out and checked the exterior. It looks very beautiful.
Entry is overpriced if you're not coming for a performance . At €10, it's much more than most palazzi. Better to take in a performance in the cheap seats
A good idea to bring a pillow (waterproof is good) if you're seated in an unreserved section, and a raincoat and umbrella - no matter where you're seated - if rain is a possibility.
Although opera , ballet and symphonies take place year-round in Verona, in the summer, operas move to the city 's most atmospheric venue: the ancient Roman arena .
Make sure you are in the line for tickets , 15 mins before ! What an amazing experience , opera out in the open. Don't forget to bring a jacket and be comfortably formal .
Great historic area discover and to walk around, close to anything you might need.
REMEMBER:Something to hand on and plenty of fluids, it's just varmt.???? and the sun has warmed up the stone you pages. You can buy sundries. Liquids but they are a little expensive .
Love city .One of the most wonderfull city of İtaly.Verona and its arena ..Wonderfull

Nice place . Best musice
Must visit a show at the arena if possible. Take cushions to sit
It is amazing to experience an opera here. Seats are normally available in all price ranges.
is worth a visit, got an amazing feeling and it's beautiful but is overpriced!! 10€ pp
You should visit at least once in your life, got a great view especially at the festivals going on
If you visit in the summer, you must go to the opera .
The view from the top is astonishing but take care as the steps are a bit worn in places.
Must visit. Take a picture of Verona from the top.
Two thousand years the Arena is here... And still working as an immense open-air theater .. what else Can I say?
It’s beautiful from the outside but since the inside is used for concerts nowadays it’s modernized
Always nice to see and especially the shows in summer a a must see
What an astonishing architecture in the heart of Verona !
Incredible, outstanding and amazing
Amazing history. Stunning city and views . Well worth a visit.
Noting interesting inside! 10 euro for nothing!
Fantastic opera experience - only the cheap seats do not have cushions.
The first Sunday of every month, the entrance ticket is just 1€, arrive early
The show is really awesome, but keep in mind that one opera can last over 4 hours ;-)
Much less than in Rome, but such beautiful views on streets and houses!
Amazing place, the visit worth every second!
Gorgeous historical venue with outstanding accoustics
Really amazing place for concert
Brilliant place to enjoy a opera , history all around
Beautiful small "Colosseum " in the heart of Verona .
It's definitely worth paying a bit extra for allocated seating near the front.
Ticket to Arena costs 6 euro. You may enjoy the view of Piazza Bra from Arena ????
There is nothing to see inside. It is better to throw your money to trash. Inside is converted into concert place with iron construction and plastic seats. There is nothing historical inside.
The atmosphere is amazing
Very cool, but smaller than Colosseum . I would see Colosseum instead if only time for one.
This is the 1st roman arena . Must see in verona.
