Area where Oak Creek flows over smooth algae-covered rocks making them function similar to a water slide.

Arrive early because it gets busy. It is a lot of fun though and worth it. Definitely a cool experience instead of a water park and the views are amazing. The water is COLD.
Great park to visit when you are in the Sedona area. Bring a change of clothes and plan on getting wet in the stream!
Be prepared especially if you are going with kids and/or babies! I'd probably go back when my babies are older. The hike back up is no joke!
Fun place to visit, but try and get there early! There are usually lots of people!
Most of the park and trails aren't dog friendly .
Go on a week day to beat the crazy crowds in the summer.
Get there early - they fill up by 10am in the summer!
First been there 25 years ago, still a cool place to hangout!
Good family fun and hiking trails .
Water shoes recommended highly. Nice place to take the kids.
Bring watershoes or Teva-like sandals to make the wading easier.

A favorite day trip from Phoenix. Grab a couple friends and hike the trails by the canyons. A respite from the heat in summer, beautiful colors in autumn, budding greens in spring. - Hannah
Friendly staff, awesome views. Be sure to get a nice soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! - Jon M
We stopped there for lunch as part of a tour.. Everyone was super impressed with the food! I would stop again and would love to spend a weekend there. The property was great looking! - Kathy Bethune

A must do, especially on your way in to Sedona (if you’re coming from the South). Beautiful views. Drive as far up as you can so that you can park close. - Michael G.
Excellent veggie sandwich called Mama Says for lunch. Half the price of eating in Sedona. Great atmosphere. - Jeff Finazzo
