The Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden is a unique 127 acre botanical garden and historical site, home to plant collections from all over the world, including many rare and endangered species, and housing outdoor historical landmarks representative of major phases of California history.

Very pretty place. It's divided by continents and they have a free shuttle that goes around the whole arboretum. And the peacocks just roam around giving you plenty of opportunities to take pictures.
This is one of the greatest places in Los Angeles County . Every film or tv show that you can think of has filmed here. The peacocks are gorgeous too.
Queen Anne Cottage was used in the old TeleVision Series Fantasy Island with the late Ricardo Montalban & Hervé Villechaize from 1977- 1984 on ABC & was reprised again from 1998- 1999.
The main attraction is the 1885 Queen Anne Cottage , best known for its role on TV 's Fantasy Island and as the Florida home of Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand in Meet the Fockers .

Best time to go is in the morning between 9-10 if you want to feed the squirrels
More peacocks that you'd ever expect - even if you were warned ahead of time. Some of them like to show off their feathers. Also, climb to the top of the waterfall .
Peacock and geese everywhere! The outskirts could use some work though as they're kind of boring compared to the middle areas.
