Arrive early and head straight for the Straw Hat Cafe before it gets crowded to avoid the massive wait. Be sure to check out the Saturn Theatre for original short animation limited for the Museum !

Kate Davis

Look in every corner, nook and cranny... or you'll miss something! Be sure to see the show in the theater (show up early to get in line ) bc they are usually exclusives you won't be able to see again!

Shinnawy

What an experience! You don’t have to be a Ghibli/Miyazaki fan to enjoy this museum . It disconnects you from reality and takes you to a lovely place. Won’t be my last visit for sure ????????

Trish F

Great for the Studio Ghibli fan ! Arrived at 10am and short wait (15-20min) to get in. Make sure you buy your ticket beforehand (website has details, can buy from Lawson ) as there aren't any door sales

Diegoberto Bellamy

The collection is tiny yet beautiful. The only way to get tickets from overseas is asking someone in Japan to buy them for you. But be aware that they’ll ask at the gate for the ID of who bought them.

Jennifer Walter

As much as I want to love this place with all my heart: its lack of crowd control and lack of English information makes me a bit sad. Go early! Head for the gift shop first to shop in peace .

Carl Johan Crafoord

You can easily walk here from Mitaka station . Plan to spend at least 3 hours getting lost here. There's lots that you won't see if you don't look close enough ;)

Kerry

We had a wonderful tome, cute museum , good gift shop and you can attend a show. Make sure you queue 10 mins early for the show

Very cool museum . Quirky layout of the building, giant Cat Bus inside to sit in, plus you get to see a short Ghibli film only available at the museum .
