Still one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town . Slow cooked belly pork is a must. The Banh-Cuon is great to start as well .
Great food. Their Pho is amazing but I've never had the same thing twice here and it has always been fantastic. The photo is the Royal Chicken .
chicken royal with coconut rice and a couple of saigon beer . in the end, a funny chopped lovely orange as a little treat. cheap and good, probably the main reasons for getting busy basically everyday!
Unprepossessing café-type place full of locals who tread the fine fashion line between Hipster and Crusty. But the cooking here is outstanding. Nobody in London is better at frying. Read more
They change the menu so no more Chicken Royal & satai chicken ! It's very sad but still very good : try the noodle soup 🍲
My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London so far - been flank noodle soup , pancake with chicken and prawns , monk fish satay starter and pork steam rolls are some of the firm favourites.
Great and inexpensive Vietnamese place . Vegetable spring rolls delicious. Good choice of beer too.
Gloriously tasty Vietnamese food at ridiculously low prices. Difficult to get to but worth leaving the city for.
Try the lot leaf pork ....this place is one of the best Vietnamese places in hackney.
Clearly the best Vietnamese in the area. Authentic and full all the time
Amazing Pho . Tasty and too value. You can bring your own bottle too.
Great food, especially at the price - the clay pot pork belly is a standout dish.
Stacks up well against Kingsland road competition. Hassle free walk-ins on Saturday nights, too.
The Pho is great. This place is authentic and delicious.
Aubergine and tofu in a black bean sauce and the flat noodles both good options for those on a vegan diet.
Must be the best Vietnamese Restaurant around Mare Street ! Food is lovely.
Salt and pepper tofu starter is well tasty for vegetarians .
Best Vietnamese in town . The squid is excellent.
They use fresh rice noodles in their Pho #ftw.
Great food, but watch out, if they don't like you there's no orange half with the bill!
Wooooaaaaaah. Massive price hike ! It's been gentrified
I couldn't feel the same as other good tips here. The summer rolls were the worst one I've ever had. Char-grilled pork/spring roll rice noodle was not very impressive either. I wouldn't visit again.
The hot and sour prawn soup is a winner!
Wow nice reception and great food
Rare beef pho quite bland (esp for the price). Better equivalents in the area!
Awesome salt and pepper squid starter
By the way they moved to bigger place a few doors away at 247 to 249 Mare Street
Try the Crispy Vietnamese Pancake With Prawns - The deliciousness lies inside.
Try: the soft-shelled crab , anything with goat and anything sizzling; and share starters between two- they're massive!
Pricey but tasty
Try papaya salad with pork and prawns . It's fresh and spicy .
Very good food here and good service
Amazing fish !
They don't have anything that's gluten free . Apparently they put wheat in the wok!? So if you are allergic to gluten. There's no food for you here.
Saigon Prawn Pancake
Salt and pepper squid . That is all
Best noodle soup in a long while!
Saigon slow cooked curry .
Order fast, live long
Saigon Prawn Pancake at Tre Viet
Yes the beef flank noodle soup is to die for!
Its true, The beef flank noodle soup is good
No longer BYOB sadly!
Uhhm? .... Yummy! I love this place. Thanks Uwern
Better places around. Not recommended.
Cheap and nice!
The food is good but I found it expensive , the Thai on the side is tasty and cheap ! ;)
Good food but very slow service.
Très contente de ce Vietnamien . BIG UP aux rouleaux de printemps 💖
Ask the papaya salad, seabass, chicken and rice with eggs! Delicious food! - Stefanie Reis
The chicken on lime marinade is great. Pancakes too. Also the fried king prawn things ! Sorry I can't remember the names properly ... Its the sake ;-) - Robert Thomas
Best burgers in the area. Instead of normal burger baps, they use brioche bread in the shape of burger baps - hopefully they still do that. - whychristo
Excellent home brewed beers here of all styles, the hoppy ones are the best. - Martin Mild-man
Good atmosphere. Spacious outside patio. Ideal for community hangouts around a drink and a good match. - Gwen Hdw
