we are from Texas and we came here not knowing what to expect and it was so amazing! a great look into Georgia and southern comfort food ! Mac and cheese is really great and the biscuits are HUGE!
The angel burger was good, if it had avocado it would been great! Their grits are amazingly delicious! Very creamy and smooth, it's a must try!
Excellent food. Meggsican wrap sauce is a bit too hot and not enough tomato . Great cocktails for brunch - all in a pint glass for $4.95. Grits are to die for.
Same as the others: get the creamy grits . Also, the biscuits are not to be underrated, especially with the apple/cranberry(?) butter, and the fried mac and cheese and anything with the tomato aioli .
Some of the best grits (creamy and dreamy!) and biscuits (with apple butter !) around the South. You haven't truly experienced Flying Biscuit unless you've eaten here, the original.
I'm a fan of the food here but I'm not a fan of the "survival biscuit " that they give you with almost every meal. It's not for everyone. Pillsbury Grands please!
The Creamy Grits here were very good thanks to the butter in them. Chicken Sausage patties were good, but salty. Biscuits have a whole wheat option. Potatoes were nothing special. Street parking .
On the menu alongside standard eggs and gigantic biscuits : organic oatmeal pancakes , homemade granola , turkey bacon , and free-range chicken sausage . Read more
Egg-ceptional eggs are yummy and I love the biscuits . Follow it with an ice chai tea and you'll leave with a happy tummy. Weekends here are crazy, so expect a wait.
Despite their appearance, the lava cakes are delicious. And make sure to get a biscuit , mostly to go wild with the accompanying apple butter .
The Flight of the Biscuit : Atlanta's favorite brunch joint all started with the original Flying Biscuit location in Candler Park . The franchising rights went to Raving Brands in 2007.
Smoked Salmon Eggs thingy was so good. The grits were amazing. I don't have any pictures b/c it was that good.
Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious. Definitely one of my favorite place to go for breakfast .
The original! Anything goes well with one of their famous biscuits with homemade cranberry apple butter
Try the Shrimp & Grits , Egg-Stravaganza, Grilled Mac n Cheese , Hot Chocolate !
Go to the original on McLeandon for the best vibe, but they're all good. Try an egg dish with a famous biscuit .
Biscuits and jam are very good. The chocolate chip muffins was good too. Try the cookies .
Love everything. If u are looking for brunch or a breakfast , I guarantee you will like it here
Everything is good. Window view tables make the experience that much nicer. My cabs egg salad , french toast , and of course the grits and biscuits !
OMG, everything was delicious. But the weekend Johnnycakes and dreamy grits were worth writing home about. "Dear mom and Dad...."
OMG! The food was delicious. I had a full breakfast . First time trying grits . Liked it alot
This my fav place to come to on an afternoon during the week for brunch . Bring a book or a newspaper and enjoy!
This place is so lovely. Get the turkey hash or the High Flyer and eat the apple butter . Yum!
One of the best breakfasts in the city . High flyer breakfast . Mmmmmm
Park for free anywhere in the Candler Market lot (per waiter at FB). Great, friendly , and attentive service during "brinner."
Turkey Pot Roast , big biscuit and apple butter are oh so good!
If I had to design my dream omelette , it would include goat cheese , mushrooms , and a tomato topping. Thankfully, it exists at the biscuit ; it's the Clifton. True Love.
Organic selection; vegetarian devil burger good mix of flavor
Two words: creamy grits . Their grits will make any other bowl of grits elsewhere taste like dog poo to you. In other words, try the grits .
The grits are LIKE NO OTHER that you will ever eat. It was the first thing I tasted and I fell in love at first bite! READ OUR REVIEW! Read more
The only location worth going to. Great breakfast .
In the heart of Candler Park , there was a 20 min wait on Friday. Bring patience
I come here for the Egg-stravaganza and the cappuccinos !
The bar is small but worth it...excellent service from top to bottom
Flying stag? Pop into the bakery when the dining room is crowded and settle up to the bar . You'll be taking down a Flying Biscuit Breakfast b4 you can say "Joy, party of 6!"
I went here for dinner this evening...Food was excellent, but...a wino came in and asked my table for money, and the restaurant workers did not ask him to leave. Will complain to management tomorrow.
Love the grits !!
Had the BBQ chicken burrito . It was a let down. Next time I'll take the advise of my fellow Foursquare users & try the grits .
The shrimp and grits are awesome ????????
Great fresh food with great service.
The creamy dreamy grits take the cake !!!
The first door on the corner is for the bakery . Keep walking two doors down for the dining room. It's the door by the sign hanging out over the sidewalk.
Biscuit : fantastic. Eggs : terrific. Grits : first time I've EVER not had to season them myself before eating.
Everything...especially the Love Cakes !
Must get grits and black bean cakes !
Turkey Hash is Amazing!! GRITS are out of this World!!!
The grits !!! There is a second bathroom up the ramp & the eggs were eggs-celent.
Make sure you wait outside of the door to be seated. Otherwise they'll bitch you out and tell you to step outside!
The shrimp and grits are excellent!
Try the Turkey Meatloaf With Pudge - So good! Pudge=best mashed potatoes
Pan Seared Trout, boniato mash, sautéed bok choy, and tangerine slices drizzled with sweet yet tangy sauce. So good, I did not use the white thick sweet cream sauce. Amazingly paired for perfection. - JENNIFER Cook
Great for vegans with meat eating friends. Maybe you could get them to try a bite of cruelty free food! ???? - Bonnie Lyle
Omelets are cheeeesy, and the heaping bowls of fruit with cream to dip in are on point! One of my favorite breakfast spots in Atlanta - David Wiley
High Tea's really delicious and econimical. The ambiance gives off cozy, fantasy bookstore vibes. Very tight to move around in though, but really lovely tea spot. - Lucille Butler
Deli is awesome! Burger/fries are excellent. Breakfast sandwiches are strong. Lunch sandwiches/salads are great. - J Z
