After trying everything, the Zuke Blue tuna and Zuke salmon are the most memorable & special. They specialize in Mackeral & salmon - so you can't go wrong. The toro & caviar is beyond worth it.
For the freshest of the freshest fish , make a reservation at the bar for either Tuesday or Friday evenings when their latest supply of fish just arrived. And omakase all the way!

Premium sushi is tasty, a good amount for one person. The black cod with miso is also a classic and very tasty, also a good portion. Also had the Thai red curry cauliflower starter and it was good too
A bit pricey but worth every dime and penny. Also, the Bananas Foster is hella good. This is a place to treat yo self.
Get the deep sea uni- it might not be on the menu. Super fresh and slightly sweet. It can even sub as dessert !
Omakase , wagyu beef , freshly ground wasabi , sea urchin , sakes . Be sure to try from the kitchen menu too - delightful. Even the desserts and teas , if you somehow have room left, are first-rate.
apps: cauliflower and peppers . sushi : uni and creamy scallop ???? dessert : bananas with ice cream . tuna tataki , green tea mochi cake were aight
Fantastic nigiri and rolls. No crazy innovation but simply world class execution
The vegetable tasting and sashimi sampler are amazing and perfect for sharing with a date. Make sure to try the unagi nigiri as well .
Gorgeous, simply prepared sushi here allows amazing cuts of fish to shine; stick with nigiri or sashimi .
Delicious, nuanced Japanese cuisine. The green tea and the incredible quality of the fish make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area.
Go for the 7 courses Omakase ! But just keep in mind that you are leaving the Chef to determine what you are about to eat... I had a course that's a bit too experimental: shirako
Order the seaweed salad . Unlike anything you've ever had. You will not be disappointed. .
Sushi was incredible. The hamachi and sake In the 6 piece sushi were to die for. Dessert sampler , wow. Great selection of loose leaf teas . Loved the mint blend.
Brussel sprouts kimchi , sushi , mochi w cardamom icecream + the Oulong very nice. Had to wait outside with other customers (only a tiny bench there, wait standing) for >30 min though had a reservation
Hands down one of the best sushi joints in NorCal. Their sashimi platter is super high quality and delicious.
Junko and Ran’s team will guide you through an authentic and unique Japanese cuisine history.
Hands down the best sushi place in the bay area! The sashimi dish is oh-so-wonderful. Fresh fish . Big pieces and big price tag but totally worth it. And soup lover, get that shitake miso soup ! :)
Everything was perfect! The best service! The owner is from Japan so you will test real sushi !
Good lunch option - try their seafood soba ! It comes with grilled salmon , clam dashi soup and tempura . Sushi is really so-so
Take the ferry here from Pier 38/41 - the best sushi in the Bay Area as well as other seafood entrees for those who like their fish cooked. It has been around forever for a reason - it's superb.
This is the best Japanese in the entire bay area. They have two world class chefs constantly innovating culinary masterpieces. I've gone here for years, make sure you try both sushi & kitchen items.
Steve Jobs didn't feature this by chance when introducing the iPhone... Great service and fanciful presentations make this a place that you better have reservations for!
So delicious. Creamy scallop roll/front roll > middle roll > tempura roll/back roll
The menu changes periodically, but their spicy tuna roll is famous. Also try the crunch roll , the ahi poke , and the marscapone ice cream for dessert !
Book in advance or expect a wait, which you can soften by sipping one of the bar 's 45 by-the-glass sakes . Read more
you have to get the omakase nigiri at the sushi bar . this is the best sushi in the country ! especially if you're lucky enough to be served by nori-san.
Sit at the sushi bar (have to call for rezos) and order the omakase .
Very tasty sushi ! Liked the coconut mochi dessert
Best sushi I've had in the Bay area. Period. Go for the omakase .
Good quality sashimi and nigiri but the rolls are not very good. Amazing toffee cake for dessert !
Very good restaurant , but far from being a real good sushi , and at these prices I guess I'm not coming back
Definitely get the 6 piece assorted sushi plate. Incredible.
the sushi here is fantastic....my hands down fav. is the "crunch roll "....so fresh & flavorful, it didn't last long. #fire
I've been told that this is the restaurant the great sushi chefs in the city go to to get their sushi , and I don't blame them! Whether you like sushi or not, make sure not to miss the shaken beef .
I see why this place earned a Michelin star . Some of the best sushi in the city !
Try the omakase .
Great selection. The sushi lunch is very ok for one person! And it's delicious!
This is, without doubt, the best sushi , and some of the best food of any kind that I've ever eaten.
Hands down the best Sushi in the Bay Area.
Everything here is amazing! I have never had better sushi . I recommend the tasting so you get to experience a variety.
No reservations ? Come right when they open and get seated immediately. They have a few select tables for walk-ins.
Get a reservation and prepare to eat your sack off. My biggest advice is don't think about the price. It's going to be expensive either way so you should enjoy it. Best sushi in SF
The best sushi Ever!! When you visit. . Ask to sit in Tidas section. . She Rocks:)
I want to live here. In the restaurant . I have a hammock . I can totally hook it up in the back.
Kaisen Futo Maki !!! Amaze-ing. Also the vegetable tasting is surprisingly flavorful & delisch
The omakase is phenomenal.
