Maetaman Elephant Camp

Enjoyed the bamboo rafting , bring a hat/sunscreen because it can get very hot. Buffet lunch and Elephant show was OK. Elephant rides can get really scary. I pity them though for working non-stop.

A set tour better to come on group u have elephant show then ride elephant for 40 mts and ox cart the lunch buffet very poor and finish by bambo rafting nice day don t forget hat very hot

Absolute win here. Elephants seem well taken care of, great restaurant with buffet . Fun ride with real cool riders. Drink a Chang beer as you ride a Chang!

40 baht for bananas to feed the elephant at the other end... Bring it with you and feed the elephant ! Otherwise it's awkward when you're the only one not feeding them! It might get grumpy!!!

You can ride elephants for about 40 mins to cross the river . View is good. Might have to wait a bit. Be gentle to the cuties.

Show was bit of a bore but the painting fascinating. Elephant ride was incredible experience and the 45 min raft ride relaxing and worth it.

Elephants here are cared about and pampered: no chairs on their back, just play in the water and walk with one person

There must be more than several dozens of elephant at the camp.

Everything is good but I noticed that elephants are treated badly. It’s sad.
