Amazing learning experience. I love tea and I had no idea what all went into making it. The tour is very informative and I will definitely be buying from this company in the future.
This is a great spot to see when visiting Charleston. It is free to see the factory and sample the many teas made in store. It is located near the Angel Oak Tree , so make sure to stop and see it too!
In my opinion it's the best tea in the world. And it's the only tea plantation in North America to boot,so it's a really cool experience.
We only took the free tour of the factory (which wasn't working at the time) but the videos are really informative. Gave me a better appreciation of the process of producing tea . Try the free teas .
Free iced and hot tea in the gift shop . Be sure to reuse your cup and sample all of them.
If you're getting here by Uber/Lyft, make sure you arrange for return arrangements. You won't be able to find a car out here!
The drive might be far but you get a quick tour of how tea is made in the US. Nice sample of teas in the gift shop .
Trolley rides through the plantation and a walk through the green houses after the factory tour . Kids 12& under are half price.
Wow, a very big farm that has been used without upgrades, It is very sad.
The teas were great and the trolley ride was relaxing
Free taste tasting and factory tour . Doesn't take long and is fun to do.
Be sure to get $1 off the trolley by checking in and showing the special to the cashier !
Informative and great shop. Although there is no plantation here!
Learned a lot about tea production and this is the only tea garden in North America !
From #TLSponChat: “@ChasHarborTours: Head out to Wadmalaw for a visit to Charleston Tea Plantation and Irvin House Vineyard .”
Never see a show here. Five hours of traffic after leaving a concert an hour early........

The lemon tea soap was great, but it only lasted a few days
Do the tour !
Beautiful! You can not climb or carve on the tree but the size is worth the trip. - Theresa Burt
$6 to taste 6 liquors. Roughly 20 to choose from. Flavor profiles of some of their moonshines and liquers are incredible and so spot on (Red Velvet, Banana Pudding, Coconut Cake, Apple Pie) - Adam Tornes
