Bear Peak is a hiking trail Boulder located in United States.
Boulder , CO United States
Highest peak of Boulder's Front Range at 8,461 ft! Strenuous and rocky up Fern Canyon Trail , moderate but longer path down Bear Canyon Trail .
Tough but the view is worth it.
Awesome views ! Fern Canyon route faster but hard, Bear Creek route long but easier.
Be prepared for a strenuous hike . Ridge trail is easiest way up.
Great view of the Rockies, and only a 90 minute hike from downtown! - Daniel Spiewak
If you're a strong hiker and prefer to do a loop, ascend from the north and follow the sketchy trail around the back (west side). It's easy to pickup the main trail (southern tip) for your way down. - Scott Silverman
tip: cyclists riding uphill have right of way. cyclists yield to all others (hikers, runners, equestrian's, yeti's, etc) - Francis Kelly
One of the best hiking trails outside of Boulder. Great views if the city and the Rockies! Can walk up Saddle Rock trail (rocky, strenuous) or Gregory Canyon to Range trail (steep at parts, moderate). - Will Hallock
Always great beer on tap and delicious burgers! Give the Date Night burger and Southern Sky Ale a try. ???? - Devin Chamberlain
