Best fromagerie is Hamel . Buy espelette peppers to dry. The flavor is unbelievable and a $5 purchase will yield enough pepper to last you a year. Just a block away is the Oef de Marché diner .

There are a lot of fresh vegetables , fruits , fishs and sweet maple candy ! This place is very fun. I bought ice wine . You can tasting that! It is not expensive than getting at the airport .

Best farmers market in the country . You'll find everything to pickle summer's harvest, make an enormous amount of tomato sauce or treat someone with Quebec made delicacies.

Shop on Tuesday and Friday afternoons for fresh crowd free market food. On Monday late afternoons, they throw out a lot of food. Great if you are on a tight budget -and are up to dumpster diving.

Located in the heart of Little Italy, this market is a food lover’s haven. Aside from fresh market finds, you’ll also find live musicians , interesting characters and a unique ambiance.

Probably the best market in Montreal , great way to spend a few hours on a sunny day, if you like cheese I highly recommend Hamel , probably the best cheese I've eaten since I left Paris :)

The St - Michel kiosk is a wonderful place to buy plants. When you go, as for Gabriel. He's very kind and knowledgeable . Excellent service .

Worth a visit. Lots of great food and they're very generous with their samples. Reminded me of London's Borough Market .
