At one point during the tour the guides flip the lights off for a few minutes, the darkest dark you will ever experience. Also do not watch the movie The Descent before touring the cave .
Exploring the cave is an Incredible experience! Tour the very sites that influenced Mark Twain to include the cave in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. This is a must-see when passing through Hannibal!
