take a photo every time you check in on the bridge - of the view , of the train , of the people around you - and help create a crowd sourced gallery of the Manhattan Bridge B/D/N/Q on foursquare.
Tourists : looking at the marvelous view of Manhattan and Brooklyn by the river . Locals: Looking at their phones waiting for the new email :P (or checking in at foursquare, like me).
Be sure to take a deep breath when you get out of the tunnel and enjoy the views of the city as you pass over the bridge .
This is the second time I walked over the bridge since the beginning of the summer it looks so dope at night I recommend this great walk I wanna walk over 3 bridges in one day it's gonna go down
It's tempting to make a quick phone call when you go over the bridge . Don't be that guy.
While not an official Subway station , it is what every tourist would want to see, even if your station wasn't exactly at DeKalb or Grand/Canal Street!
You can tell the tourists from the commuters because the former will run to the window to see the views the rest of us see every day
Awesome to have a flash of phone signal in commute in!
Try saying excuse me before you squeeze all of your 200 lbs into the seat besides me
A short , yet beautiful view of lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge .
I like riding alongside other trains . It feels dramatic. And epic.
Great view especially during sunset and late evening commutes
Pursuing mayorship of the subway system is perhaps the most engaging yet. This spot has top-notch views for commuting locals.
Absolutely beautiful sunrises over Brooklyn and Queens if you're an early AM commuter !
There is still cell service when traveling through here! :)
Beautiful view at sunset and sunrise. Definitely makes you enjoy NYC even more!
If you take up two seats, dont try to squeeze your fat arse in a single seat and yell about why no one is moving over. Stand!
Manhattan bound B/Q look out the right side of the train just after pulling out of Dekalb Ave. For an awesome animation! It's the coolest
You can see the statue of liberty on a clear day.
Leave tips that are greetings to your friends. Hi friends!
The second best view of Lower Manhattan , the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty in the city
The view beautiful on bridge over looking lower manhattan and downtown brooklyn
Try the bridge ! It's delicious.
A brief respite where everyone whips out their smartphones.
Add the pretty people then see if you can find them..while avoiding the Hugo's and creepos
RT @DaNavigata: Using your phone w/Service on the train ? Costs a couple of years and millions.Using your phone on the train over a bridge ? Priceless.
If you time your ride right you can: update your Twitter, check-in on four square, and download all your email!
look at the others who've checked in today- you'll get a good sense of train frequency!
Great 3 to 8 minutes to get network, emails, twits, etc. Long wait to UES underground:)
Beautiful View of Manhattan Skyline in the night!
Learn some subway manners people. Let the people off before you push on. Push me and you will go flying.
Nice view outside the train , occasionally inside as well
Grew up here but still find myself looking at the view
The animations after DeKalb Avenue were there before many of you were born. Assholes ruined it. I'm glad they revamped it.
Turn headphones up when cross the bridge . People tend to use their outside voice on the phone. Annoying!
Ladies! Please, do not forget that you are wearing skirts ! Outcome could be fatal!!!!!
Great people watching and quicker than a car service! Might have to start using public trans more.
Take your cell out and use it, you got reception
The most gorgeous ride ever...miss taking it all the time.
If you need to use your phone, please speak at a reasonable volume.
The view alone is worth the trip. Read more
