Uncle Bud's Catfish Shack

We chose shrimp & chicken tenders in addition to fried macnchz. Not a fan of the country atmosphere but the food was very good ???? ???? and was served promptly & hot. The waitress seemed distracted. ????

I loved it! Great little dive. Good food - and a lot of it. Very friendly atmosphere . We left happy and full! Highly recommended. :-)

The catfish and shrimp are great. The fried oysters were the best that I have found in Nashville. They really take care of you and make you feel welcome.

Food was ok. You’ll be full on free slaw/beans but the catfish fillets were dang small for the price. Peach cobbler was more like a pudding . BUT the staff was GREAT and the family vibe is lively .

Platter was good but portion was small. Tried to make up for it with unlimited white beans , sweet onions , Cole slaw , pickles and hush puppies .

Sunday is all you can eat chicken for a great price. You can't beat the service with a smile!

I'm not sure about all these other folks, but I actually enjoyed my meal tonight. It was a lot of food for the price, and it was great food.

Fact: Best hush puppies I've ever had. This location seems to be the best of the 3 I've visited.

I remember getting to go to Uncle Buds for a treat as a child. The food was spectacular, and the thousands of hats from the ceiling unforgettable. Sadly, this place falls extremely short on the past.

Got the catfish sandwich . Not very flavorful, small piece of fish disguised by a big bed of lettuce underneath. The French fries were better than the sandwich and I'm not a huge French fry fan.

The original is back! Gator bites and gumbo are great!
