Opened in 1943. The "Oh-Stinko-O" logo - a man in tears with a close pin on his nose - was inspired by a woman who declared "Oh, Stink-O" as a man next to her was served a burger & onion rings .
Cakes seem hefty portions . Can't get enough of the Lobster rolls , wish they were larger! Shakes are great! Burgers are decent. Though parking is always full from In N Out, i always find a close spot.
It all began back in 1943 when Jack Twohey (pronounced two-e) first opened his eponymous restaurant on Arroyo Boulevard in Pasadena . And though 70 years have passed, the great food and traditional ...
I had the big boss breakfast Ribeye steak , bacon , eggs , home fries and English muffin . Delicious!!
Good food, service was ...so so... Later found out why, heard patrons and staff talking that Twohey's lease was not renewed, will be closing at end of January, and will be moving to South Pasadena .
The Monte Cristo is just a ham/turkey & Swiss sandwich on French toast bread 🙁 no jam .
Old location looks worn, but staff are friendly and the chocolate milkshakes are perfect.
The hot fudge Sundays are so so good! Save room for one.
Ask for my favorite; the off-menu Chicken Fried Steak

Very good quality of food for the dollar!
Nacho stink-o burger is amazing! And the zucchini bread ! Yum!!
Great breakfast place. All other options are just 'okay'. Typical American diner that locals go to for 'ok' foods.
Try the Turkey dinner - (via @Foodspotting)
Been coming here since 1974, but the past 3-4 years they seem to have fallen off their game. I have had problems with undercooked chicken , strange flavors in the food, poor quality food. Saddness.
