This place never disappoints. Everything from the drinks to the atmosphere is great. I recommend getting a combo plater to share, qnd dont forget the cornbread .

This Black Dog is newer (opened in 2015) & larger than the Urbana original. Burnt Ends are a must & sell out early. Beans & Elote Salad = good. Brisket , Polish Sausage , Cole Slaw , Mac & Cheese = ok.

Combo with fried hot link , brisket , beans and mac. I still feel like this is the best BBQ I've had after several years m. New location is great. Food as good as ever. Nice beers .

Brisket is good, sweet tea is ok, applesauce was surprisingly delicious (you don't think much of applesauce ). Beans are tasty and smoky. The Texas sauce and hot sauces are all good as well .

Burnt Tips Platter = delicious, even better with the Carolina Red Sauce (and sides of twice-baked-mashed potatoes & green beans , of course). Sit outside so you can watch trains go past!

I love their brisket and pulled pork sandwiches . Their sweet potato fries are always good. I recommend getting two types of sauces.

Get the cask beer (rotating) and pair it with a pulled pork sandwich (hot sauce and slaw on top).

The wait was well worth it. Our bartender took great care of us. The brisket was excellent. Sweet potato fries and potato casserole were great sides!

Get the burnt ends if you can. Also, their smoked wings are some of the best in town .

The same menu as the Urbana location, but pretty much everything is great. Try the Carolina burger !

Get here early for the burnt ends ! Not a bad thing on the menu and rotating taps.

Had the Cuban sandwich for the first time, it was awesome. This location is roomier than the Urbana one.

Great that they offer curbside pickup, just make sure you order plenty ahead of time!

Some of the best burnt ends outside of Kansas City . Can’t go wrong with anything here.
