Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA)

You don't need to be an artsy person to enjoy this gem. Every artwork is powerful and unique. It's really worth the visit even if you are in BK for only a few days.

Elegant modern designed museum with a lot of Thai artists ' masterpieces. Great place for contemporary art exhibition and surprisingly late 19th century european paintings .

my favorite place in BKK for leisure. 5 floors of outstanding art . Ticket for adult-259 THB, student-100THB. Best time for visit is weekdays. There is good coffee shop .

Great museum collection of contemporary art by Thai artists . Worth the half hour cab ride from town centre. There are even some beautiful European paintings in the 5F Richard Green room.

The star attraction here is the beautiful building—great lighting for those wanting posts for IG. Art is great too, 250 baht will get you inside the museum and a free bottle of water.

Firstly, get to BTS Saphan Khwai, go down stairs find Bus Stop BTS Saphan Khwai (Exit 1), waiting for No.29. Get on and tell the conductor ข้ามแยกเกษตร, when arrived, go back across railway, forward.

Very random placing of the pieces across the museum . 70% has a sexual connotation & a boob (also egg ) obsession without context. No wifi . No restaurant there (or in the area), only a cafe.Cool chairs

An impressive collection inside an equally impressive building, plus a cafe with a small terrace . Takes 2-3 hours if you really want to enjoy.

Mix between modern art and more traditional. Big enough place but not huge. Spent a good moment.

A must visit place when you're in Bangkok! Don't be late, it'll take you at least 3 hours to go thru all of the 5 floors in here.

Well worth the trip out here. Traffic is outrageous, but that's Bangkok.

Great modern art museum , photos allowed. Mostly Thai artists with some international pieces on top floor.

Interesting but somewhat one dimensional. Quite easy to get to, but very difficult to make it back to the city centre.

Not the Tate, but great Asian modern art museum and architectural building. Worth a visit.

멋진 장소입니다. 콜렉션들도 괜찮았지만 무엇보다도 현재 기획전시 중인 Prof. Chalood Nimsamur의 작품들이 참 좋았습니다. 한 가지 인상적인 것은, 이곳에서 근무하시는 분들의 서비스가 거의 호텔급입니다. 택시에서 내릴 때, 택시문부터 열어줄 뿐만 아니라 이어지는 서비스들이 한 마디로 감동적입니다!!! 기회가 된다면 다시 들려볼 곳입니다.

เลอค่า ทั้งงานศิลปินไทยและต่างชาติ รวบรวมงานชั่นครูไว้มากมาย โดยเฉพาะห้องของ อ.ถวัลย์ ดัชนี ที่จัดเก็บงานของท่านโดยเฉพาะ ต้องใช้เวลา ในการชมมาก จึงจะซึมซับได้หมด

พิพิธภัณฑ์ มีการจัดเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย และมีกิจกรรมพิเศษ รวมทั้งการเสวนาเรื่อยๆ ครับ

มาเที่ยวชมกันนะครับ เมือง ไทยมีพิพิธภัณฑ์ อยู่เยอะ แต่หลายแห่งถูกทิ้งร้างไร้การเหลียวแล ที่นี่เอกชนทำ ตั้งใจทำมาก ไม่ผิดหวังครับ :)

Потрясающий музей ! От него до аэропорта дон муанг ехать минут 20. Такси нам вызвали сотрудники. Пустынно, просторно, много разных течений живописи . Приятный сувенирный магазин и кафе
