Sofitel Huanghe Sheshan Resort

This placed is so much better than le meredien! Brunch is higher quality. Love the fois gras station. Also the pool is amazing. Only thing missing is a hot tub !!!

Great food. Nice hotel pool . Great for a short break. Melanie who runs the food service is marvelous.

My 4 year old broke a metal looking cup behind our table with 4 kids all under 5. It took over 15 min to have the glass cleaned up, and then we were ordered to pay 1000RMB and taken to police station .

The brunch isn't as broad as Le Meridien Sheshan, but the quality seems higher. Not as busy either. Only a handful of families there on Sunday.

Good place to spend a few days outside of Shanghai. The restaurants are good - the food is, but service is a bit spotty.

Good facilities for kids but the service is just awful for a Sofitel. Particularly shocked with the service at the all day dining buffet restaurant . It's dirty , slow, and not a single friendly staff .
