1961年、海上からでも陸上からでも、どの角度からも同じ姿に見える１０角型のスタイルで建設 されました。高さ106メートル、重さ12,000トン。灯台 を意識したデザイン となっています。（実際には2008年７月まで、頭頂部には灯台 としての機能も併せもっ ていました）
20〜30歩で一周できちゃうかわいい展望台 。でも本当に素敵な景色 が楽しめるので大好き。個人的に、コンセント 口が幾つかあるのが助かってる(笑)
横浜の美しい夜景 を一望できます。
展望フロアは意外にも遠くまで見渡せます。床面をガラス張りに張り替えてある部分もあるので、度胸試しはいかが。
マリンタワーを歩いて登れる日があります。暑い時期は夕方からとなります。
港町の風景を眺めることができます。
強風の日、すごく揺れる。船酔いする人は確実にやられるので注意が必要です。

誕生日前後は展望料金無料の特典あり（要証明書類）。
灯台 としては世界最高の高さを誇り、ギネス にも認定されています。
5/1～9月までビアテラスをやってるそうです。
改装して頑張ったから、ココは残って欲しい。
