A hidden gem ! There isn't a sign with the name. Inside is amazing. It's huge. It looks like a hogwarts style bar . With games. Bocce was awesome but a long wait . Fish tacos were on point. 😋
Just like everything else in the Athletic Association , Game Room is too cool for school. It's like your parents' basement , but grown up & swanky . Perfect for groups. (Try their Chicago dog !)
Follow the sound of cracking billiard balls and the occasional cheer to this wood-paneled gaming hall, to play pool , bocce , foosball , and more while enjoying fairground-inspired food. Read more
This place is awesome!! Huge space with great games like foosball , pool, mini shuffle-board and full scale bocce ball . Fantastic place to go with friends or even a date.
Monday to Thursday from 3-6pm get a burger , fries , Schlitz lager , and rotating shot for $10. Arguably one of the best burgers I’ve had. Also, play shuffleboard and bocce ball .
The team in the Cherry Circle Room also put together a drink and snacks menu for The Game Room, which has billiards , a bocce court , shuffleboard , and table games. Read more
Cocktails are creative and delicious, the space is beautiful, and games, duh. Get there earlier though. Went there from 3-5 on a Friday, then to dinner next door, and after 5 the place was mobbed.
Indoor bocce ball , foosball , pool, alcohol , and a setting straight out of the board game clue...are we playing games within a game???
Located inside the Chicago Athletic Association , this large game room has plenty of nosh and booze to keep you and friends fueled for intellectual engagement; be it chess , backgammon, or conversation.
Beautiful place. But couldn’t get in because of a private event . The girl said to go to Cindy’s hang out come back at 12am so we did. They closed... talk about bad timing but it’s nice inside
The whole environment that the game tables create is awesome. Go prepared to ask (or be asked by) strangers if they (you) need an opponent!
Absolutely loved all the games but it can be quite hard to get a turn on them. Good beers to choose from too.
Absolutely love this place - great place for groups, stop in with visitors when doing touristy things in the loop.
Great space - lots to do, amazing cocktails . Highly recommend the old fashioned !
hidden gem for classy people. Reminds me of the Ace Hotel NYC.
We had almost one of everything. Crowd pleasers were the fish tacos , fried pickles , and popcorn .
You need to leave your name on a waitlist with the staff in order to play the games, which may take hours after you get there
Crowded for happy hour - has pool tables , bocce ball and more! Cool vibe for sure.
Such a chill bar !! Bocce ball , pool, shuffleboard , and lots of space!
On a Saturday afternoon this can be a great place to spend a couple hours with friends playing checkers and drinking beer
Casual fun place for games and happy hour
Fun ambience for cocktails . Games to play, but expect kids around.
Excellent pool tables . No smoking great ambiance
Queso is lowkey good
Cool atmosphere. Trendy games. Good fries .
Play bocce with friends while you drink an old fashioned with some fried oysters .
Great drinks and great service
Summer? Get the Frozen. Delicious and surprisingly strong.
good place to go with friends
Love love love that they have bocce ball .
Space is great. Service was terrible. They brought out food before drinks, and forgot half of our food order. We decided to leave, but they did apologize and comp our 2 drinks.
Tables are pretty old but pretty affordable beer
frozen drank

Really tasty strawberry shakes. Burgers and fries are top notch. SUPER fresh produce and cheese on burgers. A bit on the expensive side but this is a heavy meal, I never finish it. Worth the money. - Gabrielle Rosas

Great beer selection with a focus on Three Floyds. Excellent cocktails as well, try the Seven Sisters. The Welsh Rarebit and Pleasant House pies make amazing bar food. - Eric Munn
