Krispy's Kajun Chicken

Just like Popeyes , which they are apeing, they have daily specials (including weekends) & sides/drinks can be added on cheaply

Fries slightly rawer, less seasoned than Popeyes . Shrimp decent texture & taste but slightly mushy in parts (probably the batter). Shrimp & tenders came with sweet & sour sauce . A little odd. Sauce ok

Coleslaw ugly, probably due to lack of additives, but somewhat refreshing & had some crispness. Biscuit a little dry. Crispy (was odd). Nonetheless, tasted pretty good & dryness aside crumb decent

Chicken (mild) was decently crispy & tasty, but the flavour did not penetrate very far into the flesh. The batter was not very thick (thinner than Popeyes ), which some people may like.

This place is basically a cheaper version of Popeyes (probably since they don't have to pay franchise fees). Overall, this is a decent option if you're in the area.

Tenders not very crispy , less crispy than average. Mild, but flavour also mild (much milder than chicken ). Still alright, but mild spiciness shouldn't mean mild taste
