The ban mian being raved about is from Face Ban Mian stall , part of an island wide chain. My preferred style from this chain is their pork belly you mian

Economy rice is affordably-priced because it's a Rice Garden (NTUC) initiative. This plate $3. Nothing outstanding. Young men doing all the cooking & serving

Teh peng (under 'Ho Lim' branding) is thick & milky . Shiok ! $1.80 for this cup though

The dry 非板面 is so good! In my opinion it wins KinKin chilli pan mee !

I like the Ban Mian stall . The pork rib noodle is quite tasty, also like the dumplings that you can order separately ;)

For best results. Take away the ban mian home. It taste better because it is cooked longer in the container.
