carot cake is super delicious. they have almond milk for coffee which is just great. liked it here in summer but also in winter in the evening hours. good music , nice staff , reasonable prices

Spring for the breakfast , it's excellent. Hotel is a gem in a great location. Just note: no a.c in room and slightly fewer amenities as you'd find in a less boutique hotel .

The alternative walking tour leaves from the reception, daily at 12.30. Highly recommended for a tour of Berlin as it is now from a local who really knows it. Our guide was Penny and she was great!

Truly unique hotels are hard to find. The Michelberger is everything good about Berlin; amazing people, good food, drinks, music . Love the location, decor, ambience. Why would you stay anywhere else?

While I didn't stay here, we used their meeting rooms for a two day workshop. Design is stunning and food is great. Staff were really lovely too! Would love to come back and actually stay the night.

Super cool place with the most amazing breakfast buffet I've ever seen. Not super luxury as it's attempting to remember the spartan nature of the old East Berlin - so bear that in mind.

Places like the Ace hotels feel cheap once you get past the veneer of cool. But I was amazed at this place. It was all the hipness you could want, frugal materials without feeling cheap . Well designed

Best hotel in Europe! This place is so cool. Chill in the bar morning - midnight and beyond. They serve great cocktails and apparently an amazing breakfast .

Drinking and people watching at this hip hotel is a must. The Michelberger is less a hotel and more a living room for cool Berlin. Make a point to enjoy some food, music and cocktails here.

Even when you're not a hotel guest, this place is great for breakfast , a sandwich , reading a book or an afternoon lunch during weekdays. Great vibe, friendly staff and great overall atmosphere!

The restaurant and bar are great places to meet. The restaurant has an amazing value for money lunch menu ! And try the homemade lemonaid served in a pottery jaw.

Hipsterplace, but still worth a visit. Hang on the couches with a book , enjoy a drink at the bar or satisfy your cravings with some pie .

One of the coolest hotels I've stayed at. Nice design and great breakfast . Very nice back yard garden/bar/restaurant. But the service at the restaurant was bad and food not the best either.

OMG how cooler than this can a place be?! Ultra chilled and quality food, music , ambiance, decor, the whole package + great location and service, such a relaxing basis for a w-e in funky Berlin, go!

The bar is very good. You can eat while seating on a couch , work on a table or again stay outside in the patio . Is full of young people and the waitress is very kindly.

The lunch tray has a little bit of everything. I’ve gotten it 5 times and it’s always great. The salad should go in a bowl, though. It makes the paper wet :(

Really hip , cheap hotel . Tiny simple rooms , but right in the epicenter. Walking distant to so many cool places!

Breakfast was great. The rest seemed over the top quirky, with dark corridors and staircases. My room was small, and very stuffy. Opening the window helped but it’s noisy outside (rubbish plant).

The "high tea " is a strong drink with earl grey gin infused tea , citrus sugar and cocchi americano .

Hip hotel in the middle of the dodgiest location in Berlin. The rooms are pretty nice and spacious , the bar is always open. Likeable.

Cool and friendly hotel . Liked to hang out in the courtyard . Our room faced the back, where a garbage station often woke us up too early. I found the location a bit off.

the coffee in the bar is good. special, soya milk , and they will make a latte with soya milk . breakfast is fantastic. the people are super. the bar allows for poetry and whisky .

Rooms are pretty but very loud and our bed in the loft room was not the most comfy one. Anyways, this hotel has a style. Spending time at the lobby and at the lovely restaurant is always pleasurable.
