From the early days we have wanted our own bar, in which we could cultivate a welcoming atmosphere as a platform to share beers. Beers that are local, beers from further afield, an environment for relaxing as well as an environment for the discussion and enjoyment of beer.

Superb modern pub alongside the quay. Run by the Gloucester brewery . There is a large selection of great real ales and craft keg beers .
Real ale beer . None of your Stella/fosters crap here. Have there own Gloucester brewery beers as well as guest ales . Staff are experienced, knowledgeable and friendly . Food is good too.
With its own on-site nano brewery , even though the main Gloucester Brewery is only 200m away over the canal . Sweet, ultra limited edition runs of beer !
THE best pizzas I've had in a very long time. And I eat a lot of pizza !
Happy Hour , 5-7pm every Tuesday to Friday, £1 off all Gloucester Brewery beers and gins . Nice.
Great local and foreign beer , exquisite quality. Very trendy
Craft ale , charcuterie meats and well matched cheese .
Great beer and staff
Good music , local beer
Very pleasant Wetherspoons. Great value food and real ales. - Carl Griffin
Quirky restaurant with great food and drink. Try the 3 sausage and mustard mash, for example. - Andrew Foster
Ancient courtyard inn. Shakespeare is reputed to have performed here. Great real ales. - Carl Griffin
Nice atmosphere, nice beer (lots of opportunity for tasters - just ask) and good food to boot! The nachos to share are massive so the small would probably do as a starter between two. - Samuel Rampling
The Chocolate Brownie is one of the best I've ever tasted. The whole hazelnuts are delicious. - Mark G
