Whoa! Felt like k was actually in London with their British beers and Scotch eggs . Don't leave without their burger and fries !! Seriously top notch! Fries might be my favorite ever!!
Hidden gem , perfect for few drinks after work and before dinner . Drinks are fine, whiskey selection is descent. Prices are affordable . Busy from 4pm to 7pm. Staff is very kind. Just the music is loud .

The family style setting in this place is amazing, together with Morgan dining room, these are my favorite spots for weekend family dates. The house blend burger is the best I've ever had, DELICIOUS!
Head to The William hotel 's casual pub , The Shakespeare and try the warm roast beef sandwich , fish & chips , bangers & mash , shepherd’s pie , and Welsh rarebit on toast . Read more
Seriously good burger , with amazing fries (chips ). Near enough to Grand Central Terminal, that you’d be cheating yourself by missing it!
This burger went through about 20 different tastings to get it right. It was tested and tasted with different burger blends from Pat La Frieda, as well as different cheeses and sauces. Read more
The Black Sheep Ale is an excellent Yorkshire beer and ideal thirst quencher at this British oasis when it’s 95 degrees outside.
Authentic English pub vibe. We were seated straight away and started off with scotch eggs which I followed with chicken korma pie and mushy peas . Mmm
House Blend Burger is good but can be intense if you're not a huge meat eater (with 3-4 different meats in there). The thick cut chips are great
Sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Soft, warm, and just the right way to end a meal here!
Charming pub with great food. Both the fish & chips and salmon burger are great choices.
A walled-off booth in a Midtown basement named for the greatest sonnet writer who ever lived. There’s a small window you can slide open for direct access to your servers.
Cozy little nook of a place to warm up on a winters night when there is a chill in the air.
Good selection of beers and good place to wait while you get a table at the Raines Law Room upstairs ;)
Ask the manager if you and your boo can get a couple of drinks and bar snacks in the Snug, a closed-off area to the right of the bar . Read more

grab a seat @ the bar , order an ardbeg neat & chat w/ lee, dennis & dave. this place is excellent!
Great food and atmosphere, tasty food, authentic , fresh a definite must go if you want a taste of England...
Burger is top class . Scotch eggs are equally as delicious. Cask ales are a must try
Enjoyed the focaccia and the salmon burger . Nice staff too. Oh, and toffee pudding !
Try the Beans On Toast -- a delicious, classic dish that works well as a brunch meal with a fried egg on top.
As you might expect, this place is a British gastropub , and it’s actually run by the same people as Jones Wood Foundry, an Upper East Side restaurant we like a lot.
Head upstairs for fancy drinks or stay at the pub for low-key vibes.
Cask Ales are really good! Very cosy .. If only it was snowing outside would be "perfection"
The full English breakfast and banoffee pie are the way to go.
Can't get into Raines or looking for something more low key ? This spot is louder, more casual , less datey.
Cosey, classy atmosphere , decent beer and food and they even show the cricket
Good English pub w/ cask ales . Expensive but worth it.
Food is great, but service needs to improve. We sat at the bar and the barman got the order wrong and his only "solution" was offering me to order something else.
Try beer from the cask . Also, Scotch egg !
Good selection of beers and great bar snacks
Relatively faithful versions of British classics in gastropub style.
Great place to chill , quiet and great drinks!
Love this place - it's so relaxed and so close to GCT.
Very cool place! Check out the virtual tour before you go! Read more
Scotch eggs good if you like meat
Great place for a date- not good for large groups. The space is cozy
The burger was AMAZING! Nice spot.
Love the scotch egg so good
Enjoy some great beer at the bar with excellent bartender Joelle.
If you're looking for a great fish 'n chip , leave London and come here.
They're serving a Shakespeare Pale Ale and a Scotch Egg for Ales N' Apps Week (May 9-13)
Super jam packed - would see no reason to come here but ppl seem to love it. Way too uncomfortable for my tastes.
Try one of the rotating casks !
Got overwhelmed by a large party and my card got lost. Bartender was nice about the goof. As long as it isn't right after work isn't probably ok but doesn't handle being packed well .
The private room/booth next to the bar is the shit.
The Scotch Eggs are exceptional!
Another vote for great beers and scotch eggs !
the homemade ricotta is ????
Love this cozy cocktail spot. Superb service, great atmosphere and delicious cocktails. Jimmy knows his stuff. This location is smaller than flat iron spot. - Meg Farmer
Great place for lunch or very good & crowed happy hour along with late night drinks - Guy Madsen
The breakfast cocktail during brunch and the whiskey tea later in the day are my faves. - Maryann Watson
Great deal during happy hour for $1 oysters. Best dishes in the house are the beef tartare, uni bibimbap and the cured shrimp. A bit more on the expensive side but paying for quality. - Mika Takahashi
All around good food — get the Reuben, Park burger and mussels in curry Dijon. They also have a 'pour it yourself' drafts in their barrel room. On my to do list next time! - Melissa Yu
Beautiful respite from a New York day. Plenty of seating, free table tennis, and nearby vendors. - John Gardiner IV
