The Bitter Bar

So worth the trip! We were foiled the first time by a private party, but were rewarded the second time with a fabulous meal and fun, interesting drinks.

Off the main drag, awesome cocktails and great service. Reminds me of one of my favorite places from my college town . Get the Looking Glass.

My favorite drink is their Blue Velvet - 42Below vodka , fresh lemon , orgeat, creme de violette and fresh lavender . If its not on menu, order it, they can make it for you. Boulder's best cocktail bar .

Good cocktails , nice bartenders , yummy balls! Get a sample of the bronuts donuts : Chocolate Salty Balls and S'more Balls were our crew's favorite.

Cocktails , whiskey flights, Happy Hour , atmosphere. Beer selection could use some work. Draught faucets are for cocktails .

All of the cocktails are incredible, especially the gin varieties.

Very knowledgeable wait staff . Ask them to help with your drink selection. I ended up with 2 drinks off of the menu that were outstanding!

Sazerac . A cocktail that so few places outside of New Orleans do well . Bitter Bar does it well . Recommended.

Green Devil is a great cocktail ...Absinthe , Patron, Lemonchello, Cucumber , and Thai Basil ! Rockin!

It's no longer on the drink menu but ask for a "kiss the sky" it is one of the best gin cocktails ever.

The beer and a shot of whiskey is a great deal and delicious!

Blue Velvet is to die for! Hint: iPhone helpful for the flashlight app.

amazing cocktails . have one of their bartenders make you something. it'll take a little while, but it will be totally worth it.

Order a 'Just Dan' from the black book . It's a martini with pomegranate and muddled blackberries. Awesome!

They no longer have a kitchen, but the drinks are legit.

skip the food, go for the cocktails . ask mark or matt to introduce you to their masterpieces: vieux carre, manhattan , bijou no. 2...

try to get a seat with the lights on... unless you have a flashlight :)
