The Camilla & creamy tomato soup were absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere and so many different kinds of brews! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes! Not a lot of parking available though.
Invariably our top pic for breakfast/brunch. Try the Beer-mosa or Bloody Mary . Very casual booth and bar seating but with excellent food quality and surprisingly delicious lunch and dinner entrees .
Duck Confit Poutine (coming from a Canadian), Turkey Dinner (don't ask just amazing), beer selection , pie and the vibe was strong. Love it!
Great atmosphere - hip , warm diner . Outstanding breakfast burritos , both vegetarian and meat (the Stendler was so good, corned beef , hash browns and scrambled eggs ). Staff was attentive and friendly .
The turkey dinner is one of the wackiest and best things I've ever eaten. And a hell of a beer list to wash it down
Best iced tea I have ever had. I am simply in love with this place. Order anything because it is all delicious. My favorite: Mac & cheese with ham and peas .
Don't know what those hipster waiters are doing, but the wait time for ordering is unusually long. Food is awesome when it's seasoned correctly. Love coming here though.
A.j.s compact turkey dinner is my thanksgiving meal all year round. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. I'm 8 items away from having everything on the lunch/dinner menu!
Brussels salad so flavorful! Turkey balls and mac and cheese too were very good.
Had an amazing Drink menu and delicious looking food! Was a cool place to visit and I would love to have the menu again one day!
Go after 5 on Sunday to enjoy a free basket of bacon with every drink purchase. Then order AJ's Compact Turkey Dinner with all you've come to expect from Thanksgiving in convenient ball form.
One of the best selections of craft beer in the city . Beyond that, their rotating taps are constantly full of high end , high abv craft brews from around the country !
Be prepared for a long wait , esp on weekend mornings, but the pay-off is worth it! Amazing food and cupcakes !! And after watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, I tried the meatloaf and loved it!
For real the best bloody in Milwaukee! The other places that claim to be better don't compare. Oh and did I mention it comes with bacon !
Try the vegan Big Luck Burger , which screams perfection—the burger patty is even encrusted in hazelnuts ! Classic fixins: lettuce, tomato , onion , and pickles , and hand-cut fries .
We are from NJ and were recently in Milwaukee. We saw the Comet Cafe on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives, so we looked it up while we were there... the food was fabulous! I can't wait to visit again!
Excellent beer selection . Tried the compact turkey dinners first visit and it was excellent. Meat loaf looked very good as well .
There is almost always something interesting on tap. Attend beer school on the first Tuesday of every month. Also, don't miss the Craptacular held during the holiday season.
Great menu options and the food was perfect! I'm so lucky to have this gem within walking distance!
Advice from a Saint Louis foodie. Come here! This place has great service and awesome food and a hip vibe.
Great place to take your vegan friends, because the food is terrific for both lifestyles. Wonderful beer selection as well !
Order the chili-mac. It's not on the menu , but I promise you will be so satisfied after you eat it! It's a well-kept secret!
I get serious cravings for the vegan gyro . The dill tzatziki sauce is awesome on everything, including their fries ! Also $3 classic cocktails on Tuesday nights are delish.
Really, really good meatloaf . Made from local grass fed beef , too!
Amazing! Delicious food, awesome service, & friendly atmosphere ????
Bloody Mary is soooo delicious! Loving the green bean garnish .
Sure they say the service may be slow, but it's because the food is so good. And treat yourself to a Sconnie-mosa or their famed Bloody Mary ! (3.5 out of 5 stars) Read more
The rocket platter comes with a pancake the size of your head. The Bloody Mary is spot on!!
The artichoke melt is a must and don't forget your basket of bacon after 6pm on Sunday's.
Sample one of their outstanding local draft beers - all stellar and unique finds for beer enthusiasts.
They have been out of the vegan riblets the last three trips we made across town and after plugging the meter. I think I'm done trying. :(
The fish fry with breaded catfish and polenta was excellent
Short wait .. Food was really good . We took a road trip from Chicago to check it out and it was worth the adventure :)
EVERYTHING here is good, including the bloody. If you're there for lunch , the Longhorn Sandwich is phenom!
My daughter and I fought over the house salad with fresh ginger dressing -- a thing if genius. Slow food does test the patience of little ones, however.
Beer lovers: Don't miss out on the Sierra Nevada Juniper Black Ale on tap courtesy of Best of Beer Camp! Wickedly good ale .
I loveeee their grilled cheese & tomato soup . Quite possibly the best tomato soup I have ever had.
Meatloaf and their drink list. Great food everytime!!!
Busy for weekend brunch . Bacon pancakes are worth it though.

If you're here for brunch and don't get a bloody w/ bacon , consider it a wasted trip.
Got sat right away, (1pm) but weren't greeted for 10 min :/ server wasn't very attentive at all. Fries amazing, "the big rib " good vegan choice .
Busicuits and gravy are amazing. The gravy has a nice little kick!
Great food, great drinks. Prepare to wait at busy times but so worth it!
You can't go wrong with the Mac and Cheese plus Bacon !
One of the best brunch spots in the city , but if you aren't prepared to wait for a table go early or late.
Check out the eclectic beer menu .
Best bloody marys ever. Make sure you get the strip of bacon inside too! So good.
a little pricey and a little slow, but the menu items and tap list do more than make up for it
