One of my favourite restaurants in London. Their Sunday lunch is the best in the city , no wonder they got a Bib Gourmand, the quality of the food is outstanding! Make sure you leave space for dessert .
This is an amazing place, the from individual daily menu to the perfect service. Extremely good food and great wine selection . Highly recommended.
Great Sunday roasts - 2 or 3 courses - highlights were the tomato salad starter and burnt butter tart for dessert . Impressive Yorkshire pudding too
We almost ordered the whole menu between 3 and it was all fantastic. The brown butter & honey tart might have changed my life
Great for post-Columbia Road publunch. Be sure to book in advance - the place is packed for a reason... Their food and wine selection is fantastic.
This is not your usual pub - award winning English pub servicing a good selection of beer and british food
A new favourite - perfect for winter evenings. Commendable selection of draught beers . Small bites from the bar good too.
Cozy pub with a great sunday lunch . Definitely book in advance
The food was amazing...a little on the expensive side...and it's a little bit crowded ...but overall a lovely afternoon.
If you like your Sunday lunches big and bold and your gastropubs more bar than restaurant , this cracking little corner pub near Columbia Road flower market will do you proud. Read more
Delicious! Everything is homemade , down to the crackers , bread and apple jelly .
Bacon buns and pastries to take away on Sundays ????????
Phwoaaar. Get the curried duck and the sourdough roti . Do it.
Lovely pub with a great atmosphere and its literally around the corner so great for a cheeky pint or two...or five.
Food was great, and the service and ambiance were cozy and relaxed.
Great Sunday roast , lovely staff , mussels a bit bland, good wine .
The beer battered Fish and Chips are the best!
The Marksman burger & chips are amazing! Staff are brilliant so get down there!
Exceptionally good Sunday Roast and great Pale Ales from tap
Excellent food, upmarket but cosy interior.
Even the veggie roast option is fantastic
A good but pricey Sunday lunch - avoid the table by the door, it gets a little cold when the door opens
Nice seasonal menu and generally a nice gastropub to hang out.
Book a table on the terrace !
proper english pub !
"Pub of the Year 2017" by Michelin
Seated outside the toilets . Portions small but pretty tasty. Service friendly . Nothing outside the ordinary
Great food and a steady stream of popups
Gastropub with interesting food options
Good roast after buying flowers!
The belly pork Sunday roast is all fat. Wine choice is good though
Best e London Sunday roast ... Avoid the house wines tho (particular red)
Get the pheasant pie .
Limited selection of flavorful food. The beer selection is limited and not the same quality as the food.
Sunday roast here.
A gem in east London
Best Sunday lunch
Looks like a pub but is a restaurant .
Food was delicious but the service was the worst I’ve experienced in a long time.
Beers here have alcohol in them
Sunday roast
Cracking food!

Cask Ale w/ The Marksman burger & chips . Best burger around.
Avoid on a Sunday. They fail to indicate which tables are reserved and proceed to unapologetically move you around like cattle, whilst messing up your orders. Rude and unwelcoming.
good service , average food and extremely overpriced for a tiny sunday roast . not worth the hype.
Great staff , great food, great interior, great pub .
Really good sunday lunch and on my doorstep literally Read more
I was a bit unimpressed, especially considering how many publications recommended this spot, but then again I only sat at the bar where they don’t serve food (at least not to degenerate day drinkers).
Unbelievably overpriced, pretentious dishes, this is one to avoid at all costs
Cosy and quaint, with gastro grub and a nice patio area outside - Heather Knight
Excellent huge bar snacks, love the scoth eggs and sausage rolls :) - Lauren McGregor
Really lovely, just reopened pub. Lovely staff and quiet and spacious garden - T K
Succulents 3 for £10 and great quality! Perfect for a lazy Sunday stroll! - Brittany Sübers
Bunsmith is doing Sunday roasts now as well and they're amazing! Get the cauliflower and cheese! - Attila Szabó
