After life as a furniture shop and a laser tag arena, it's since been restored to a spacious cafe-bar and live music venue with events on almost every night of the week. Great acoustics for jazz acts.
April Film Lab, a great Spot and was my first time there and I loved the venue, the wine is spot one, and the staff very polite.
Lovely place with lovely people. Band and other music good. Food and service also very good. Will definitely be going again.
Great pub , with regular event nights, highly recommend Monday free film nights and they had a wonderful burlesque eve not to long ago
It's a lovely bar - but is really missing a trick as it doesn't offer any decent cocktails or gins

Try not to go on student night/saturday night. I once saw a couple of lads snorting a substance through the toilet window on the 2nd floor. Nice during the day in the summer though lol - Stephen Jackson

Large space better now cafe good for lazy days sunbathing. Dog walking etc and now some good events but don't go at night unless an event - Suzie Payblyth
