Wow, we will be forever ruined for deli sandwiches now. You’ve never seen pastrami piled so high, trust me! My Reuben made three meals, three delicious meals. Also, their 1000 island is the best.

The corned beef sandwich is big enough for two, better yet, take it to go w/extra rye bread ; pair that with some sauerkraut , Swiss cheese and Russian dressing to make three or four reuben sandwiches !

Classic Chicago establishment. Rub elbows with anyone who's anyone. Try the corned beef on rye . Pass on the potato pancake . Chicken noodle soup , Eli's cheesecake , spaghetti , and a Green River .

Delicious soups - both matzo ball and kreplach. The Turkey Pastrami sandwich is outstanding, but half a sandwich is plenty when combined with soup and a potato pancake

Everything here is good, but never seems quite on par with New York delis . The pastrami and corned beef have great flavor, but can be too chewy or dry.

The sandwich is big as the place - the corn beef is the bomb. I suggest not going at lunch time - it gets grouped quickly - so go a little early.
