The dog park features one acre for small breeds and five acres for larger breeds. Covered seating areas are provided in both sections so owners can comfortably keep track of their animals.

Be sure to bring water for both yourself and your dog. There are waste bags as well as scoops for picking up after your dog. On the large dog side, the perimeter is almost half a mile.
This is a huge park but the water & shade situation isn't as good as the Dallas parks , & I notice way more aggressive dogs in the large park than at Northbark or Wagging Tail.
Great safe way to let your dog run free with a pack. FYI- ALSO a great way to work in a few mintues of focus training with your dog to avoid distractions off the leash .
Lewisville Dog Park will be closed Wednesday 1/25 and will reopen Thursday 1/26 at 1pm so we can treat for fleas and ticks (weather permitting). Call 972.219.5077 to check the status.
On the weekends it would be nice if the soccer people parked on their side and let the dog and skateboard people park by the dog and skate parks .
One of the best dog parks I have found , a nice space with friendly humans as well
Be sure to bring your own water and bowl. Doggy water fountains are turned off for winter season . If forget, use tap water in restrooms .
What a great time for my dog! People were nice and not crowded (wkday early afternoon).
The flea/tick treatment announced for 1/25 and 1/26 has been postponed due to expected heavy rain. A new date will be selected and announced.
Dont bring you kids under 9. My kids are very well behaved and were just sitting on the bench watching and they kicked us out. We were even in the small dog section and there were only maybe 6 dogs.
I enjoy watching an owner go out of their way NOT to look at their dog when it hunches over and drops logs.
Best time to go is when it is about to get dark... Pick up your dogs poop! There is stands with doggie poop bags on the park grounds.
It is assumed that dogs will run and play well with others. HOWEVER, there will be multiple owners that do not watch their dogs. Mine was attacked by a dog and the owner was oblivious. Do not Go.
Dont leave your dogs unattended! And stop being suprised when your dog gets thirsty - remember to bring your own water bowl !
Friendly dogs everywhere
Bring your own water bowl to this park , there's only one fountain that doesn't work very well
The bitches here are dogs!
This park is leash free please let your dog be a dog
The drive there is a little odd, best time to go is week days-heaviest on Sat & Sun.
Bring bags, they're running out!
I picked up free, no passcode Wifi out here.
Watch out...There's dog shit everywhere :-)
Bitches be cray
No kids!!!!
