If you're tourist in Istanbul you should order cacik, gavurdağı, sosyete lahmacunu, közde patlıcan, közde soğan for starters. For meal your taste is important but tarak is the state of art the place.

Best Beyti Kebab in Istanbul . Zübeyir Usta is super cool and nice guy. I definitely suggest you to take your foreign friends to here and sit by the "Ocakbasi"????????

Very cosy place . Like to be there for long time. Finely chopped Lamb kebab for main course and roasted aubergine as an appetizer/meze were so delicious.

One of the best meals we had in Istanbul. Don't snooze on the meat platter sampler thing (and the Raki !) I hear the pork chop is off the chain too (but was sold out by the time we got there :(

The food was extremely astonishing. We ordered special salad , chicken and bayti kabab which were extremely delious, especially when you drink a double raki with your food.

Garlic kebab chicken wings & specially chopped lamb chops are to die for. Pumpkin dip was good as starter. They served a spicy salad and onions in some sweet and tangy marinade and was delish too

Sit by the grill your first time here. But it quickly gets hot. Definitely try the tarak . It's lamb you never imagined existed.

Don't try to order your whole dinner from the get go. Pick 2-3 mezes , 1-2 portions of meat, drink your rakı and eat gradually. Pick 1-2 different meat portions for round 2. Repeat.

Seriously cannot go wrong w the pumpkin spread, Aubergine and the mixed meat platter. For 3 people, 3 platters + meat was enough. Great food!
