This place is literally Cheer’s. The Prime rib is the best around, the drink is strong and the service is attentive. The best part is the usuals that have great stories to tell.

I drink tea in the bar...so the fellow who says it is not a good idea likely only visited once, while I am here often - The 4 Square Mayor.

Don't eat in the bar if you are only having tea with your meal because The bartender seems to forget those who are only having tea . If you're having a cocktail then you might get better service.
