Amazing fresh food !! The pizzas are grand !! If you are a beer drinker try their beer . The brew & make it themselves . Love the atmosphere . I think I have another favorite spot in Detroit !
The hot Wassail cider will put you in the holiday spirit, it's perfection. Drink it outside by the fire pit if you want a magical experience.

Getting attention not only for Motor City Brewing Work's craft brew scene, but also for its creative pizza and chili options. [Eater 38 Member]
First time here and a friend suggest the "Marry Did Have" pizza ! If you don't mind a little foreign touch to your food please try it.
Delicious pizza for only ~$10 and beers were unique and tasted terrific as well . Quick service even though the place was packed and we had a great time.
Mediterranean pizza was super tasty. Pizzas are 10" usually with 6 slices. Not a huge beer selection but what they have is excellent ????
My favorite place in midtown. Crab dip , sopla fuego (spicy ), and the porter is my go to order, but it's all great!
Pear and fig pizza is insanely good! The Danimal has a great flavor combination. The dough is some of the best Ive ever had.
Awesome atmosphere, beer , and food! We even had to get a growler to go! Definitely be back if I'm ever in Detroit again!
LOCAL. Local. Local. Local brew . Locals. Outdoor seating . Handmade pizza and a dash of Detroit artwork. An after work frequent destination.
Watch your parking ! Obey the signs! No joke, you could be towed. With that, great place for a really decent variety of sips. Check out the roof in summer.
Very, very highly recommend. Great place in Detroit, I'm not exaggerating when I say it was a highlight if my trip.
It's not always on the beer list , but ask for the Wassail. It's hot hard cider , with brandy , nutmeg , etc. Really puts you in the Christmas spirit!
The beer here is amazing, but you got to have a pizza . Try the sopla fuego if you like spicy stuff. It has a good bite.
Pizza . It isn't always on the specials, but the Honey Boo Boo is fantastic. Honey , cheese , artichokes . It's divine
Love Ghettoblaster . Pizzas are good. Great atmosphere. Tucked off of Woodward up by Wayne State . Cool place.
I love pizza and have had many. This is the best pizza in Detroit. My favorite is the Sopla Fuego .
Been here a few times and loved it! (GB!) but when I came on a Fri night & was completely ignored w/no chance of grabbing a table, we left. Youre losing $, have someone greet patrons on busy nights.
Highly recommend the beer flight . Make sure to try sodas as well ! No caffeine.. hand crafted like the pies.
Cool staff , the beer flight is great (even the holder), very comfortable interior and nice design. Great place all the way around
The pizza and beer are delicious and the bartender looks exactly like Joseph Gordon-Levitt...all-around awesome restaurant/brewery.
Make sure you have the Ghettoblaster . And try to park in one of the 4 or 5 designated MCBW parking spots , there is usually a parking attendent from the Traffic Jam (across the street) that wants $5 if
Decent beers , bizarre parking situation, great food. I recommend the "Mary Had A...." pizza . (It's lamb , get it? )
Good choice of beer , service was a little slow when we were there but would recommend popping in
Randy... Watch out. He's some hot shit... Sit at the bar and watch him wash the dishes... Or pour water on his body during a hot summer night... Yeaahhhh....
Best local brew , fave pizza , still see friends' art on the walls... and the upper deck in the summer is the perfect spot! Read more
Their pizzas are delicious! One will feed 1-2 people. The Godfather Part 2 is absolutely amazing.
Great pizza and beer . Do not park in the lot - you'll have to move
Just saw the most rustic beautiful cheese plate , with hard salami , smoked gouda , & fresh toasted baguette !
Forgot to add that the hard cider in incredible and the bartenders are the best I've ever seen!
Good beer and even better pizza !
Try the ghetto blaster ! You won't be disappointed unless you like piss in a bottle
Intimate. Definitely has the Cass Corridor vibe. Ghetto Blaster is by far their best, the rest are just OK. ????
The BBQ chicken pizza was great. wish I could say the same for the service. It took 17 mins to get a waiter . The place is beautiful with lots of potential but the service is definitely lacking.
Only park in designated Motor City BW parking spots or you will get towed. There is also a MCBW lot in back.
Corktown stout . Top notch. Smoky with smooth coffee tones.
If your gunna park in the lot,ONLY park in the spots that have a white Reserved Parking sign for the brewery or park in the back!
Hand-crafted microbrews in the heart of the Motor City and some of the finest brick oven pizza around.
Nice cozy space on an awesome street. Tasty IPA .
Can't go wrong with Ghetto Blaster or the IPA . But if they have the elixirs try one, they can be a nice break from the beer .
Great place for pizza . Also, they have good ginger beer . Very light.
Pizza and Beer , the cherry wine is good too.
Some of the best brews I've had in Detroit. The Ghettoblaster is always kickin but go out on a limb and try the "Nutblaster ".
I. Love. Ghettoblaster . Great place to hang with friends and have some GOOD beer .
Great beer ! Try the pretzel .
The pear and fig pizza was awesome, if you're looking for something a little sweet.
Pale ale & bronx bomber. Chili also on point.
Pizza , deep crab , sample beers , and all beers !!
The SUMMER brew is the move. Go chill roof top with some of that!
Chocolate Decadent was delish, and my fav! They have a backroom with cornhole set up, and they have lots of board games too. Nice venue, and just a quick stroll off the RiverWalk. - Lolo ❤????????????????
Such a great spot for an after-work pint. So many brews to choose from! Mike - iRepairMotown - Mike iRepairMotown
The beer was excellent, the pretzels were extremely tasty and the atmosphere was chill. - Andrew Rable
Very cool store. Get some Lush almonds from the coffee shop - I love the Lavender Coconut Almonds, and they are made in Michigan. - Megan S.
New Amsterdam bar, right field 2nd floor, is amazing. Couches, outdoor fireplace, good views and ambiance. - Kate H.
