I LOVE this Starbucks, I think it's the fastest and best in DC. The line may look long, but they move you through lightning fast and they have never messed up an order for me. The baristas rock!
The new manager, Dan, has done a great job getting this place in shape. The morning crew is much improved over what it was a couple months ago. Much more pleasant experience now.
I'm a regular. As a regular, its best to know what you like to order ahead. Like a nonfat mocha and multi grain bagel .
BY FAR the best Starbucks in the L'Enfant area. The staff is lovely and the (often long) line moves quickly.
Pros: The long AM line usually moves pretty fast. Few tourists . Fun baristas. Cons: you need to know what you want. The register is no place for decision making with so many ppl waiting behind you.
If you order anything during morning hours that requires them to turn around and use the blender … add ten minutes to your order.
Cashier needs to spend more time listening to the customer he's ringing up and less chatting with coworkers and others in line . It's incredibly frustrating to have to repeat yourself multiple times.
I have never had starbucks coffee , but enjoy their over-priced pastries :) reading these 'tips' some of you come across as spoiled yuppies, no offense. It's just coffee folks!
Inspectors closed Starbucks at 600 Maryland Avenue, SW citing not staffing anyone certified in food safety. It passed reinspection and reopened.
There are two Starbucks in the area very close to each other. This one (inside the Gallery building) has longer lines . If you don't have the time pop outside building to other Starbucks for short line
Use the mobile app to avoid long lines .
Everything!!!!!
So fast! They'll have a huge line and I still get out with my drink in no time.
Fastest service I've ever had at a Starbucks.
Guess it depends upon who's working. The line moved pretty fast today.
Ask for a marble mocha macchiato , or when fall/winter comes along, get a vanilla pumpkin spice latte
Barista spent his time talking to costumer about his favorite Via flavor while a massive line formed behind us. So inefficient. And my pumpkin spice latte was cold.
Turn the music down! The staff can't hear your order over the super loud house music .
Much more pleasant these days, still working on getting orders correct.
Management change again-not a good thing. Slower than ever. Bring your patience.
Good music
Convenient to VRE but the location on C St SW near Holiday Inn is much better.
Try the passion tea lemonade , sweetened. Really good stuff.
So far to walk to on a rainy day. Even from the Aerospace Building.
Get your gold card...so worth it
Slowest Starbucks on the planet. Don't go if you're in a rush.
very slow service every time
The worst Starbucks I've ever been to... They totally screwed up my order
Worst service ever from a starbucks
There spinach and feta croissant is a great way to start the morning! Ask to have it heated! - Jennifer Gessner
The Introduction to Digital Photography is such a great course. I am in love with, since my very first class. Ron Aira is an amazing teacher and photographer. I wish we had more than 10 classes. - Thais Lima
Great small batch roaster, and a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. - Scott Cory
This was probably one of the best museums I've visited. It is for all ages and the admission is free! I can recommend going here especially if you are into planes, like me :) - Camilla
Museums are close by and its great because there free of course. When there are events it's somewhat crowded but well worth going. I can't wait to go back - Andrea Moore
