Tanjong Rhu Park

Area was formerly known as Sandy Point. Tanjong Rhu name comes fr casuarina trees (casuarina littoria), "pokok ru" in Malay, that grew along d beach (yes, this was a beachfront). Source: Wikipedia

NDP Preview: Spectacular view from Tanjong Rhu Park. A crowded spot here with limited carpark lots. Had to raise my hands above people in front of me to capture the fireworks reflections on water.

Really serene place (quiet , birds, water & greenery ). However, no legal parking lots ard. Unless u know ppl @ enclosing condos , park @ Indoor Stadium (1km away), & cross suspension bridge

This place is good for running, cycling, walking and also relaxing.

Great for a jog with it's flat terrain along the river or a yoga workout. Little crowds :)

Good place for picnic during weekend.
