Friendly staff , good food and great service. Came for a Sunday Session and had table service for drinks and they even brought around free snacks . A+++

Best value in Erskineville. New renovations have added a lot of open space , including an enclosed, open air lounge to get away from the smokers who congregate at the outdoor seating at the front.

Okay, I like the Rose . I do not like their cocktails . My tip: do not be suckered into getting their 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour specials . Ever. Oh, and get a table outside overlooking Erskinevillage

The thick cut beer battered fries are delicious and are perfect with a few beers . Get here early on Saturday if you want to get a table.

Varied menu covering all the standards plus some more inventive options. Try the Chocolate Slut dessert . Even saw The Whitlams play an impromptu gig here some years ago on Tim Freedman's birthday.

Hands down best pub in Sydney. Atmosphere is unbeatable, drink prices reasonable and Steve the barman is probably one of the friendliest people in the inner west .

Burgers are delicious, decor cool and relaxed in vibe, lovely bar staff !

The $10 300g T-bone with salad and choice of sauce and side (thick cut beer battered chips !) is one of the best value meals in town

Ordered the pork crackling , it came out cold and wet. They should rename the dish pork sogglings.

Upstairs dining is so-so. Much better value on the street

Have discovered recently that the service can be a bit hit or miss.

Don't eat the sausage and mash . Disgusting. Rest of food was really disappointing. Manager was rude and dismissive when I complained about the S&M. Won't be coming back.

Been waiting for dinner for two hours!

Go the Rose Burger and a beer - the way forward.
