I always drop in here when I'm in London. If you ask really nicely (and they're not too busy) you might get to browse the shelves behind the counter. I've only ever had great advice from the staff .

astonishing selection of booze -- widest variety of hard alcohol i've seen in central. not so great on wines but if you need an obscure liqueur and don't mind paying out the nose, these are your guys
