Take a free tour with the Sister missionaries. Great visitor centers . Check out the Tabernacle and the Conference Center and the Family History Library at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building .

Lauren Scime

Every building in the square is a gem in its own right with history, art , religion and music/acoustics! Even if you're not Mormon it's really amazing and worth spending some time exploring!

Colin Nelson

Cool architecture , 11 foot Jesus in the visitor center . Walk around with headphones in to avoid having to talk to the mormons who are eager to share the kool-aid

Jeremy C

Great for a stroll through the gardens around the Temple and to go inside the tabernacle. But be prepared to be approached by 'LDS' folks. Just engage them politely and briefly so they get the hint.

Ryan Lloyd

A pretty cool thing at temple square is the bell that hung originally in the Nauvoo temple and was carried across the plains by the pioneers. Western edge of the square by the Assembly Hall.

Sibely N. K.

Christmas lights at Temple Square are heavenly! The gardens are beautiful all year round but at Christmas and Spring they are amazing.

Brad Ott

My grandmother is Mormon so I stopped to snap a few pictures for her. It’s actually a really cool location.

Wilson Favre-Delerue

Soulless, charmless and the main temple closed to visitors. Add to that the pestering Mormon proselytisers and you get a case in point of a failed tourism experience.

We dare you to find out how many rooms are in the log house in the Museum of Church History and Art in Temple Square. After that we dare you to have your photo taken pretending to sleep in the ship's

Went to Temple Square from Logan to see the Christmas  lights with grandchildren. It was very beautiful scenery and great Nativity Production.

Go to the fourth floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building , step out of the elevator , and you will find a large map of the world, with photos of every temple in the world, with buttons and lights.

Mark Macdonald

Make sure to tour the visitor's centers. They're open to the public and are very uplifting places to be. The South center has a scaled replica of the inside of the temple - very interesting. Read more
