Aqueduto das Águas Livres is a historic and protected site Campolide Lisbon located in Portugal.
Calçada da Quintinha 6 (Calçada dos Mestres) 1070 Lisbon Portugal
Stunning price of history. A marvel of Portuguese enginery from the 17-18th century .
This aqueduct in Lisbon brought clean drinking water to the city , and is an amazing example of the impressive 18th century Portugese engineering . Learn more about its history at the Museu da Água.
Great view from the aqueduct , well kept with water fountains at the entrance,
The view , and it has one of the biggest arcs in the world made with stones
This is the place to visit the interior of the Aqueduto. Open only in summer
Beindruckendes Bauwerk.
Amazing bridge .. Looks good
Great hike
Closed on public holidays (like today, August 15th)
free water
Opened from 10 to 18, between march 1st and november 30th :)
immpressive engeering.
You should try to cross it in the summer
