Hand drip was really really something here. And the atmosphere is so reminiscent of third wave coffee culture all over the world. A place to feel at ease and comfort with a cuppa in busy SG.
Daily coffee is juz plain diluted kopi..sourish. The forest of mushroom is good and soak ur toast in the creamy white wine sauce with the combination of the poached egg yolk ! Yummiz! Huat bf so so..
Nitro cold brew was special. Good for those who prefer stronger coffee tastes. Pork charcoal bun is amazing. Just purely juicy and savory. Great place for a chat with chill ambience .
The filtered coffee was good and I like the bite in the lemon pistachio cake . Place has nice vibes and is crowded on weekends.
I loved the vibe here!! Unfortunately they also only accept cash and had to walk a ways to find an ATM . Great breakfast and cold brew . :)
After coming back a few times and trying some more coffees at other spots I've concluded I like this place less than both Old Hen and Nylon, where the roasts are lighter and the staff are friendlier.
With Papa Palheta, CSSH handsdown serves the best coffee in SG. It's really crowded during the weekends and Indoor seats are limited, plenty outdoor seats tho. They have a quirky store upstairs too!
I've been working my ass off trying as much coffee in town as I can and this place is hands-down at the top of the pack. Light roasted single origin coffees hand brewed to perfection. Bravo.
hype cafe singapore, always packed in the morning especially by cyclist & tourists , they serve good cold brew , white & nitro coffee . Didn’t try the food since i’m not sure about halal status #CoffeeSG
Lovely coffee shop hiding at hardware shop! Coffee was fantastic, and they serve beer too. Had Japanese Curry Bowl and Ethiopian manual brew. Perfect lazy weekends!
Hipster af. The bottled and draught cold brews are among the best I've tried in Singapore. Food is also good here with a new menu every now and then.
if youre passing by you wouldnt know its a coffee shop . the italian breakfast is really good and original plus great coffee . when im in singapore ill definitely come back and try more brunch dishes ????
Good coffee . Now available as Nespresso capsules too, under their "Supernova" label. We enjoyed "Fusion", a blend of 2 single origins
Had cold brewed coffee .hot coffee will had release the aroma I tik. Took the peach turnover. ..kinda hard ... will be better if much more moist texture . Wil be back for the main n hot beverage !
Young Singaporeans pack this bright cafe inside a restored 1950s hardware shop for the cold brew steeped overnight and served in old-fashioned medicinal bottles and the Nitro Black Matter on tap.
Daily brew and 'hand bre' (which is just V60 drip) were both excellence. Place may be not perfect workstation but it's doable as well ;-)
BIG place with surprisingly little seating! The island in the middle wastes a lot of space but Singaporeans loving queuing & you'll get to do just that here. Outdoor seating is good on a cool day.
The highlight is the theme of this cafe , very cool environment. It will be crowded on the weekend but worth to try.
The barista's passion is palpable, and watching them is mesmerizing. The espresso is the best I've had in over a year.
Coming from Melbourne, I daresay Papa Palheta/CSHH is leading the Third Wave of Coffee movement in Singapore. Coffee is great and the staff are passionate about their craft. Thumbs up guys!
Pandan gula melaka pancake tastes and smells great! Pancake is fluffy and light. My only complaint is not enough gula melaka .
Bacon , ham and onion quiche - slightly sweet pastry crust balances well with savory filling. This, coming from a non-quiche person. Love the seasonal Orange Cappuccino during the CNY hols.
Cold brew on tap was excellent! Outdoor sitting with desert plants and little corners. Skip the food and sweets.. (quiche was bland and chocolate tart just sweet)
The iced coffee is da bomb! So powerful in caffeine. U'll find yourself beatboxing on ur way out!!!
Great vibe and a cool industrial surroundings makes this place a hipsters cafe . Cold Brew Nitro on tap definitely worth a try.
I am very critical when it comes to coffee . And CSHH is one of the very few coffee shops I've visited in Singapore which serves up espresso shots I can describe as "bravo".
Don't forget to try their Nitro Cold Brew ! Totally new experience!
The filtered coffees are good but the what really makes the place stand out is the vibe and ambience. Crowded on weekends.
Terrific coffees / espresso drinks , and tasty breakfast plates as well
nice ambience packed with huge crowd. Almond croissant and banana bread was soso. Latte was superb at first sip then turn sour later ???? cold brew was interesting.
One of the best cafe in Singapore for real good coffee . Be patient if you go on weekend...
Coffee lovers must visit this cafe ! Popular among locals, this place always seems to be crowded . Order their tofu cheesecake and cold brews .
The founding hipster cafe of Jalan Besar. Has a loyal local clientele but feels too polished to me. Feels like the Starbucks of hipster cafe 's (BURN!). The cold brew was notably disappointing.
Really cool and trendy spot, great range of coffee , including seasonal specials .
Satisfied and serving is for 2 persons again. ???????????? Try their 'Cold Brew '. Perfect for mornings la~ ????????????????
Very popular coffee shop , the papa burger is really good. The coffee is a bit surprisingly just ok standard not premium than original thought.
Fig pudding is yummy. Merchandise shop is selling good deal coffee beans and equipments
Ironically, their dessert is nicer than their coffee . Had the lemon tart and latte . Coffee has sourish aftertaste which is a bad thing
Amazing Espresso . Such a passionate barista. Love the feel, the look. Also, almond croissant is crazy flaky and sex in your mouth.
Home of independent coffee in Singapore. The coffee is fantastic, and the vibe and service is good. Pastries are a bit hit or miss though.
I really enjoyed its Teriyaki Salmon Donburi and Cold Brew White ????????????????
Try the black pepper pork chop , the pork is really well marinated and the sauce is good! ???? & I love the creamy fudge chocolate cake too!
As an ex-barista working the scene in Australia, I must say the coffee is one of the best I've had in Singapore.
The young lady in red had a strange insistence that customers lingered near the counter to pick up their drinks instead of taking a seat. Coffee 's still good, not sure about the front counter service.
Coffee jelly with mint ice cream served with espresso and milk - very nice!
Chill place for a cuppa, with an outdoor garage area for a fine view of the brewing workstations. Easy to get to, down Horne Rd & hang a right at Tyrwhitt.
The Japanese curry was surprisingly delicious. I would not expect this for a coffee bar and would happily order it again!
Love the food, good vibe, usually pack. Indoor + outdoor.
Noisy , and happening hipster crowd . Unassuming on the outside but bursting with life on the inside.
Great coffee and interesting munchies such as traditional soon kueh with beetroot fillings.
Excellent cafe w/ lots of options including fresh juices- lots of seating, good for meetings & good workplace. - Minka Monica Li
Awesome ambiance, good coffee, cool interior design, fast wifi. - Vally Azar
I really love this place ... it’s quaint and quiet on a week day - and their almond latte is my favourite ♥️ plus they make helluva delicious scrambled eggs! - Rohinee Sharma
You cannot miss Hot Star Chicken! Best Taiwanese-style fried chicken dishes everrr. Must try : Chicken Bites. - Alira Dwipayana
Love their foodcourts here. With great variety of foods and drinks. Reasonable price and share. - lolcorporation SG
Oh my gosh! You can get lost in this multi level department store. It sells everything you will need in Singapore! A bit manic at the weekends but its open 24hours! - Annie Hibberd
