The stunning new Museum of Liverpool is the world’s first national museum devoted to the history of a regional city, demonstrating Liverpool’s unique contribution to the world. It is the largest newly-built national museum in Britain for more than a century.

Head to this museum to learn the story of Liverpool and its people, and their global significance. You can see everything from the Lion locomotive to the Cathedral of Dreams (that was never built...)
Absolutely brilliant. Educational and interesting. Compliments Slavery and Maritime museums perfectly. The Power And The Glory? film is excellent and should be seen by everyone.
It illustrates Liverpool's role in the history very well . You'll understand how important Liverpool was in terms of the industrial revolution. The Great Port Gallery is very impressive in particular.
Magical place to visit. Beatles museum is a must see place. The Albert Dock is brilliant place to spend the day also
Make sure you book your kids into the free kids zone for 0-6yr olds. Best interactive museum for kids I've ever seen (mine are 3 & 5).
One of the best city museums I've been to. Would be worth it if it cost money but for free it's a must.
Relatively new and a stones throw away from the famous 3 Graces and Ferry across the Mersey'. Worth the visit and see the full size Liver Bird.
The transport exhibit is amazing, even have an old carriage you can sit in
Great building. The exhibitions are more orientated to kids but it is worth visiting anyway if only to see those stairs.........
Not only are the exhibits the attraction , the building is, too.
Great museum - but leave yourself enough time which I didn't have unfortunately so my visit was rushed. It's free too!
