Weekend wine lunch - 6 course w/ wine pairing is such a good deal @ 928hkd, just go for it! The signature Hokkaido sea urchin is lovely, sadly it's gonna be taken down fr the main menu fr June '16.
With 2 Michelin Stars awarded and ranked in the top 100 restaurants in the world, Amber oozes class and perfectly executed cuisine. Try the Hokkaido Sea Urchin and Girolles with Taiyouran Egg .
The sea urchin in lobster jello w/ caviar was amazing, n the desserts were wonderful. The wines paired with the set was very disappointing - 3 of us tossed away 2-3 glasses. I like Pierre much more.
Hokkaido sea urchin is served in a lobster Jell-O with cauliflower , caviar & a crispy seaweed waffle . The gold flakes were inspired by the belief that a little ingested gold is good for your health. Read more
French Cuisine meets Asian Style and Freshness. Fantastic dishes created by Richard Ekkebus (** Michelin). Try the signature dish "Sea Urchin with Cauliflower creme, lobster jell-o and caviar ".
The weekend lunch set with wine pairing is great value ! The uni dish is superb! I also love their little amuse bouche , especially the foie gras lollipops
Richard Ekkebus and chef de cuisine Maxime Gilbert, Classical French with subtle Hong Kong influences, Hokkaido sea urchin in lobster jelly , with cauliflower , caviar and crispy seaweed waffle .
Exquisite food and service beyond expectation. I would certainly highlight the foie gras which is by far the best I have had. Worth a detour!
Go for the tasting menu on your first visit which includes all the famed dishes (uni jelly ). Look out for specials and enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant .
Foie gras is very good. It comes in a clear soup (consommé ). Desert are also good too and, of course very pricey .
If you don't want wine or non alcohol drink pairing , 200hkd will be deducted from your bill~ (for weekend lunch course ) Taiyouran egg is the best! *와인이나 쥬스 페어링 안하면 200달러가 저렴해집니다
The vibe is very good there. Perfect for a relaxing lunch or business dinner . The decor is perfect, love the amber-color lighting. My favorite thing there is the foie gras !
Exceptional service. Expect to pay in the region of £200+, without wine .
The sea urchin was perfect and the lamb was delicious. Amazing plating and drinks. Clearly the best restaurant in hk.
the food presentation beats the taste ???? overall nice experience
Try the beet root salad , wow! Desserts r hit or miss, go for the chocolate or cream ones not fruit ones. Pollack is solid, skin could be crispier.
michelin starred , and rated one of the best restaurants in the world! You must visit this temple of gastronomy at least once! Chef Ekkebus is a genius!
The braised lamb shoulder is very tender and tastes good with natural flavour of the good quality lamb !
Never mind the Michelins, the food here exudes the French way; small, exquisite and always a feast to the senses.
Weekend brunch with wine pairing is a good deal !

Confused. Rushed. Incoherent menu. Stingy wine pairing. Pigeon was a saviour, but other dishes fair are best. I put their two Michelin hats down to covid desperation. - Patrick Kirby

Excellent food, beautifully prepared and presented. Lovely dining room. Highly recommended. - Richard Spooner
